Dancingdead was collecting herbs, when she looked up to spot the
tabby sitting in the tree. "Hello, who are you?" she inquired,
curious.

"Howdy!" he greeted loudly, a cheesy grin on his maw as he
sprung off the branch he was sitting on. He landed less than
gracefully on the ground, but shook himself off and stood tall
once again. "The name's Jake. And you are?"

"That's a fancy name," he commented, tilting his head. "I like
it. Kinda mysterious-sounding." He paused for a moment. "Anyway,
I was wondering if I could join this clan. I've heard a lot
about you guys and clan life just sounds so exciting!" The young
cat's eyes lit up for a moment in wonder.

She smiled shyly at the compliment, since others didn't
compliment her often. "Thanks," she mewed, and then continued,
"I can't accept you, but I could bring you to see Coalstar."
