Inny regained consciousness just as she saw her child get bit by
her foe. She scrambled to her paws and rushed to her child's
aid, ignoring the anger she felt for Vani and focusing on
Picasso. She unsheathed her claws again and lashed them out
towards his face, hoping to scare him off for a bit.

He stepped back, but felt the claws slash across his snout and
allowed her to help the cat.

twisted and bloody paw.

"No, you're being a complete and utter idiot!" She snapped. "I
was doing fine! I didn't need your help!" Innocence glanced at
her daughter's injury, only causing her to be fueled with more
anger. "And now look at you! And all because you thought you
could fight an alligator four times your size! Ugh!" She
snarled, bringing her eyes back to her opponent. "Go! Get to the
back of the nursery with the cubs and wash your paw. I'll
somehow get Guilt for you." She took a deep breath, calming
herself a bit while she looked for her brother, all the while
trying to keep Picasso in her line of sight.

Okay. She was done with the cat now, good. He took his time
contemplating how to attack, then attempted to scratch her.
