She succeeded in landing on his back, and he couldn't turn to
attack her at all, so he attempted to flip over onto his back to
see if he could get her to move.

Innocence was forced to sidestep off of him, or else she would
be rolled over. No one wants to be rolled over.

Twisting, he was on his feet again. The alligator then took his
time to attack, once again lunging forwards, but this time
attempting to scratch her with his sharp claws.

The tiger hopped back, hoping to avoid any contact with his
claws. Sadly, her attempt was basically worthless as she felt
claws dragging down her chest. She hissed slightly, ignoring the
pain and lunging forward, aiming for his eyes with her claws.

He closed his one eye just in time, but he felt the claws
scratch over the eyelid. It was hard to see, but it would heal
in time, unlike the other eye he'd lost to a different cat.
Hissing, because apparently alligators hiss, Picasso attempted
to bite down on her other paw.

Innocence felt pain in her other paw, yanking it away before to
much damage could be done to it. She growled and took a few
steps back, in order to catch her breath. She hadn't fought and
hunted in ages.

He blinked, but that hurt as well. At least it had cleared some
of the blood out of his eye. Picasso scratched at her again,
this time aiming for her shoulder.
