Charizard turned his head to see the Spewpa, who could fit in
the palm of his hand, she was so small to him.
Maddie didn't do anything but stare up in awe at the shiny
Pokemon. She didn't even make an attempt to catch it, she had a
feeling that the dragon would rather stay here than be dragged
around by some trainer.

smile, exposing some sharp teeth.

Mew, who had taken a liking to Maddie, flew over, settling in
her arms and meeting the Charizard's eyes. Mew mewed, "Mew."

Maddie giggled and gently pew Mew's ears.
Charizard made a soft rumbling noise in greeting to the cat-like
pokemon.

Spewpa still stood where she was, shaking slightly. She had
adverted her eyes in an attempt to hide her fear, but her little
shivers gave it away. This Pokemon, this BEAST, could literally
crush her and set fire to her remains, if he wished. And if that
wasn't scary, then she didn't know what was.

across his darkened muzzle. Maddie reached out one hand to pet
his nose.
