i'm in the business of misery [open- mysterious cat at border]

A scrawny tom with pitch black fur seemed to stay dull in the
evening light. Muttering to himself, he slowly crossed into the
       border.

Stonerain stalked up to the intruder, a sharp snarl leaving her
glaring teeth. "Who the hell do you think you are? Who are you
and what are you doing here?" the assistant deputy snapped, tail
       lashing.

The tom's straight face widened into a sort of psychopathic
grin. "Why so grumpy, dear?" His quiet voice asked.

Hissingstar watched from a distance. This wasn't his Clan, but
he would step forward if the cat meant any real harm.

"Listen, pal, you might as well get out of here while you can,
because toms here are slaves." Also, Toughkit dudnt like this
creepy guy, and wanted him to leave.

"Oh, don't worry, I'm not here to join. I'll leave as soon as I
get what I need...." He then raised his head, revealing two
       piercing ice-blue eyes.

"Listen, you piece of sh[font=verdana]it. You didn't even tell
any of us why you're here. And we'll beat your as[font=verdana]s
if you don't respect that." Toughkit was real
pi[font=verdana]ssed that this tom wasn't respecting any of
them. Or maybe she was just making a bug deal out of it because
she suspected something was up with him. Either way, she wasn't
       going to sugarcoat her feelings.

He started down at the kit, and then started laughing, but in a
slightly hushed tone. "You don't feel afraid? tell me, are you
       afraid of.... ghosts?"

Yeah, she was very wary of this creep. But her fear often turned
into anger and cussing and sarcasm. "Terrified," she muttered,
rolling her eyes. "And no, I'm not scared of you in the
slightest. You should be scared of us. There's three of us and
how many of you?" She snorted. "Do you know math? Do you know
how to... Count?" she crooned mockingly.

"Oh yes, a few regular cats. I'm slightly outnumbered. Oh, how
I'm trembling with fear." His smirk meant that he was using
sarcasm. "But enough arguing with a child."
