A small kit, with a gash down his back leg from tripping over a
sharp stone, wandered into the tribe's turf. The kit, that went
by the name of Wesley, was quickly losing hope that someone
would help him.

Kokoro was roaming the territory with her mother by her side,
her fluffy tail lashing. The fur on the back of her neck rose at
the scent of what she could guess was blood. Night noticed as
well. The leader picked up her pace, running towards the scent.
Her daughter ran after, just barely keeping up. They soon
arrived at the sight of Wesley, Kokoro panting.
"Oh, goodness!" Night squeaked, eyes going straight to the
wound. "Are you okay?"

Wesley shifted his blue gaze up to Night, and almost instantly
started to tremble. "I-I... I don't know..." He tried his best
to answer the older cat's question.

Night leaned over and attempted to clean the wound. "Poor
thing..." she sighed. "Where are your parents?"

leaning down so he could climb onto her back.
