what's going on in that beautiful mind? ( open - injury )

Alex had just been out patrolling, as usual. That was when she
found an odd scent on the border, one of an animal she had never
seen or smelled before. Curious and slightly nervous, she made
her way towards the new creature, finding out as she got closer
that this thing was from RainClan. What was someone from there
doing all the way out here? Quietly, she inched forward, when
something clamped down on her. Screeching, she struggled, but it
hurt so much more when she did that. She used her claws and
lashed out, hitting whatever she could, and after her claws
connecting for the third time, it released her. Her vision was
blurry, and she couldn't get to her paws. The red tabby saw the
faint outline of a small cat and some shorter animal, then
blacked out.

Meg spotted Alex on the ground. "Oh gosh..." She murmured as she
looked down at the unconscious cat. She then glanced around,
wondering if anyone was around. As tough as the she-cat acted
most of the time, she truthfully didn't know what to do.

Keegan was out hunting. Lately he had been staying in camp to
keep track of the new prisoners, but the pile was starting to
run a little low, and he wanted to get some fresh air anyway.
Instead of the humid scent of the jungle, both dried and warm
blood called his nose in a different direction. Soon it was
clear who the blood was coming from when he traveled closer. His
orange orbs widened in shock and, yes, fear. The chief burst
into fast bounding, his heart pounding relentlessly in his
chest.
"ALEX!" he yowled, rushing up to the limp body of the WildClan
guard. Horror flooded his orbs as he gazed upon the large bloody
bite mark ruining her soft pelt. "No...What the hell happened
here?!"

[ yeah wait, wasn't meg joining the vampiro with james, or did
she not join yet? xD ]
Where was that healer when you needed her?! A snarl of fury and
anxiety left his jaw, angrily digging his killer claws into the
ground as he tried to figure out what to do. What could he do
but make her wounds worse? And why Alex?? Clenching his teeth,
Keegan bent over to try and carry Alex back to camp, where it
was safer and someone could try to treat her. As he attempted to
slide her onto his back, he could still feel a slow heartbeat. A
little relief comforted him, but it wasn't enough to calm his
rage.
Whoever did this was going to pay.

Meg gave a sigh and trotted ahead, not thinking that any help
was needed from her.
