Flappypaw trotted up late. He'd been trying to catch a squirrel,
but gave up after several tries and found his clanmates. "Hiya,
guys!" the heir mewed cheerfully as usual. "Woah, who's this
little guy?" Of course, the lion cub was probably almost as big
as him, but he was a baby, so he was little to Flap.

SerpentClan!" Odd, the cub's name was quite similar to their
deceased leader. Coincidence? He thought not. But he wouldn't
say anything unless he knew for sure it was Flickeringstar. Why
gossip about things you don't know are true?

Balloonpaw walked into camp and noticed the newcomer, curious,
but not wanting to interrupt. She slid in next to Flappypaw
after dropping her prey off with the other fresh-kill.
