A tiny Snivy with skin littered with scars and bruises was
trudging through the forest. She had gotten into an encounter
with an angry Primeape, which was behind her by now. Struggling
from exhaustion and pain, she soon collapsed by a tree, too
tired to move.
Maddie was in the same forest, Magby close behind her. She
spotted the injured Snivy and rushed over to her. She had a sort
of gift. She could befriend Pokemon more easily than others
could. Trying her best not to hurt Snivy any more, she bandaged
her up, but nothing could be done about Snivy's torn leaf-like
tail.
Picking Snivy up, it was best that she was taken to a Pokemon
Center for proper treatment. She started to head for the exit of
the forest, when a large figure dropped from the branches.
Remember that angry Primape that I mentioned earlier? Well, this
was him, and he was certainly mad.
Before Maddie could get any of her Pokeballs from her bag, she
took a punch from Primape that knocked her down. With tears in
the girl's eyes from the painful blow, Primeape stood over her,
laughing in Pokemon language.
"Snivy?" Snivy struggled to look at Maddie and Primeape.
"Snivy...." She murmured angrily.

Marissa, for some strange reason, was in the same forest. She
spotted Maddie on the ground and rushed over. "Maddie! Are you
okay?" She asked worriedly, paying no mind to the Primape.
Vulpix, the Pokemon walking beside her today, did spot the
Primape, though, along with Snivy.
"Vul...?" She squeaked.

The wild Zygarde hated seeing Pokemon hurting trainers, and
other Pokemon. He watched the Primeape hit the girl and saw the
hurt Snivy, then slithered out and stopped in front of her,
glaring hard at the smaller Pokemon.

Maddie looked at Marissa, then at the large legendary that
appeared in front of her. She continued to tremble when she
looked back to Marissa. "That Primape, over there. It punched
me." She pointed around Zygarde to Primeape.
"Primeape! Primeape!" Primeape grunted angrily to Zygarde. "You
and your little friends get off my turf!" He shouted in Pokemon
language.

The Zygarde snapped back, "Why don't you leave them, and the
Pokemon around here, alone? Then maybe I'll have them leave."

"B-But that's not fair!" Snivy piped up. "The forest should
belong to everyone!"
"Shut it, squirt!" Primeape snorted at Snivy, which made her
back away.

Zygarde repeated, "If you stop being mean to the Pokemon around
here, I won't fight with you."

A fight with a legendary? As cool as it would be to see that,
Primeape would never win. "Alright, fine." He sighed. "I'll find
another tree." He jumped back into the branches and out of
sight.
Maddie, who was still shaking, watched Primeape leave. She then
looked at Zygarde.

The black and green Pokemon looked over at Maddie and dipped his
head to the human, then after a few seconds, slithered away,
listening closely in case someone returned.

Marissa tried to help her friend up.
"Oh wow..." Vulpix was occupied with the fact that she just met
a legendary, a starter, and a fully evolved fighting type
Pokemon. She brought herself back to the real world and looked
over at Snivy. "Hey! Are you okay?"
