up." Maddie told him as his eyes opened.
"Mesprit?" Mesprit landed on Maddie's shoulder.

Max's eyes widened and he stood up quickly, gazing around.
"Marissa!" He squeaked, spotting his older sister. He ran over
and hugged her torso, afraid. "Is it true? Are we really
traveling like the lady said?"
"Mhm. Now follow Maddie and Jamie, okay?" Marissa said quietly.
She smiled gently and picked up her dufflebag, motioning for her
friends to lead the way.

Jamie called for Mew, who flew over and landed in her arms. She
then began to lead the way.
