Teddypaw grabbed a chubby mouse from the pile and sat down. He
looked around a little bit, wondering if he should find somebody
to eat with before digging in.

Teddypaw smiled once he spotted Mazedpaw entering the camp with
a catch. He waved to the medic apprentice with his tail as she
walked in, but wasn't sure if he should call her over. She might
have other plans.

She set the scrap down in the fresh-kill pile, quickly burrying
it with the bigger pieces of prey, then taking a bird and
settling down by Teddypaw. "Catch of the day." She meowed
sarcastically, smiling.

kits are doing? I've noticed they're playing with their friends
a lot. It's nice to know they don't feel left out." he meowed.

Teddypaw's smile quickly disappeared and his brown orbs widened.
Wait, what? How did he not know about this? Geez, he really
needed to see the kits more. And Mazey. He just- What? Did she
just say that?
His mouth dropped open as he wondered how to react. "Oh
no...Mazey, it's not your fault! You are a perfect mother, not
to mention you're still keeping up on your job at the same
time," he said quickly.

happy to step down from my job until the kits are apprentices,
but now that Pheo stepped down, Styg is gonna need some help."
