Clapkit chuckled at Downkit's antics. "I'll only have one eye
for the rest of my life... apparently eyes don't grow back like
fur or scraped skin." he said, smiling. [b]"But other than that,
yeah, I feel great!"

A small smile showed up on Hallowskit's face. He looked down.
The kitten, though he didn't talk to the other one, admired how
he was able to talk to people without really caring what they
said. They were nearly opposites, but Hal decided he could try
talking to him some time. Of course, he probably wouldn't be
doing as much talking, but hey, it wasn't his fault.

"Plus," Clapkit stepped away from Guardiankit, the black tom's
eyes widening with worry. "I can be a real life pirate now!" he
grinned, his empty eye-socket already clamped close. He held his
broken arm up. "See, all I need is an eye path and a peg leg!"
trying to keep things bright, the tom wobbled over to Hal. "You
like pirates, don't you, Hallowskit?" he asked, hoping to get an
agreement from the tom.

The smile only grew and he nodded, glad that Clapkit was trying
to make light of the entire situation.

Ashlee quickened her pace, her face brightening when she saw
Clapkit out and about. Guar, too, since he seemed to spend a lot
of time with his best friend. "Hey, Clap! You're looking
better," she purred, her green eyes shining.
