hot and dangerous [open]

Here, let me tell you about Marissa's life.
Marissa was from the rich side of town. She lived with her
mother and her mother's boyfriend, who abused her. She also
lived with her brother, who she kept from being abused. They
lived in a large house that allowed Marissa to have so many
Pokemon without having to stuff any in a storage unit. They also
had a large backyard that led into the forest, where wild
Pokemon sat. Currently, her mother and her boyfriend were out of
town. She was in charge of taking care of the Pokemon that
wandered into her yard. Max was to help, too, but he wasn't much
of it. He was busy training Cyndaquil.
At the moment, Marissa was sitting beside her pool in the back
yard, enjoying the sun in her bathing suit. Starmies and
Magikarps swam around in the pool, as there was a pipe to the
ocean for them to come to her yard to be fed and such. Her two
teams of Pokemon were wandering around the yard.
The newly evolved Jolteon was showing off his sparks to some
wild Pikachus. All the while his sister, the newly evolved
Vaporeon, swam around in the pool with the Starmies and
Magikarps. Vulpix was laying in the grass, soaking up the sun.
Zorua was laying beside her, watching everyone. Misdrevus was
having a race with Klefki, Togekiss, Hawlucha, and Shayman (sky
form). Mawile saw in her Mega form, watching the sky. Finally,
Delcatty sat beside her beloved trainer, drinking some milk from
a bowl. Max's Pokemon were elsewhere, seeing as Max decided to
train today.

Jamie showed up out of nowhere. She had been following a wild
Ditto. Anybody else would think it was weird that she'd go this
far for a Ditto, but Dittos could turn into anything and
everything. Heck, they could take over the world without anyone
ever noticing. Maybe they have. We'll never know.

"Jamie?" Marissa held her glasses up, then placed them on top of
her head. [b]"What are you doing here?"

After catching her breath, she replied, "Chasing something. Hey,
tell me, have you seen a slightly orange Pikachu?"

Marissa shook her head. [b]"Go ask Jolteon. He's been
entertaining all the Pikachus that pass through here."

She turned around, making her way over to the Jolteon.

"Jolt!" Jolteon grinned as he send off yet another wave of
electricity to the Pikachus.

Jolteon looked up at the trainer, then back at the Pikachus,
then shrugged. [b]"Jolllt."

She didn't understand, because unlike that other guy, she
couldn't speak to Pokemon.
