[center]Frighteninghowl blinked open his piercing yellow eyes.
He was roasting! The tomcat grunted and padded sleepily out of
the warriors' den. He had thought getting out of the stuffy den
would help, but boy, was he wrong! It was still scorching, and
the air was full of humidity. Snarling, the tabby crouched at
the edge of camp, where the trees offered little shade. It was a
heatwave in DevilClan!

Freezingpaw seemed just fine, even though she had extremely long
fur. That was because she was swimming in the freezing cold
water of the river. "Frighteninghowl, come here! It's not as hot
here!" called the apprentice/queen.

my fur wet like a RainClan cat!" He mewed and stayed huddled in

She got out, went over to him, and tried to wrestle him to the
ground. Freezingpaw was a big cat, and a strong one.

She purred, "Oh I know, but hey, if I can get you down, I can
get you in the water, ya big oaf!" With that, Freezy tried to
grab his scruff and pull him into the water.
