Phoenixfeather patrolled the borders. It wasn't her job to, but
she felt like doing so. To get the rush of possibly seeing
another Clan and having to tell them off. She sucked in the air
of the day, so fresh, and smiled.

the white furred feline wasted no time in beginning the normal
jobs of an apprentice, and one of them happened to be
patrolling. after finally getting ahold of the layout of the
territory, she had constantly gone out on walks/hunts to help
provide for her clan, but now while on a patrol she spotted a
semi-familiar face.
"oh, hello pheo!" hiddenpaw called out, padding over to the
medicine cat. "oh, um, is it okay if i call you
that?"[/font][/center]

Phoenixfeather turned towards the apprentice, smiling. "Oh, I
don't mind you calling me that at all! Nearly everyone in the
Clan does it already. Phoenixfeather is just a mouthful." she
giggled slightly. [b]"So, have you found anything on your
patrol? Or were you looking for a... certain someone near the
border?"

pretty name!" hiddenpaw meowed, wondering what her full name
would be. she could only wonder, but so many great ideas flashed
in her mind. however, pheo's next question brought her back to
reality. "oh! um, no, i don't have any ties outside of the clan,
but i love clan life and patrolling is a lot of fun. i also like
hunting but just generally being in the clan is so great!" clan
life was always what hid has desired, and finally achieving her
goal of joining one was a success she took great pride
in.[/font][/center]

Pheo blushed slightly. "Thanks." she said, then turned away from
the subject of her name and onto the other subject they were
talking about. "I see. I guess I could understand. Being a
medicine cat, I don't get to patrol all that much. Only in my
free time. But with my job, kits, and apprentice... I have no
free time." she chuckled. [b]"Oh well. Its worth it, really."

hiddenpaw meowed, smiling slightly. kittens were quite cute, but
she herself had no desire to be a mother, especially at such a
young age. the white furred feline just really wanted to find
out where she belonged in the clan, whether she should aim to
study medicine or more so in the physical abilities department.
after she figured that out, she'd think further into the future.

"I do. Oh, they're so lovely. Their names are Downkit and
Hallowkit. Remind me to introduce you sometime~" Pheo giggled,
tail flicking. She stiffened slightly when asked about the
father, but quickly let the shock of the question disappear. She
had gotten over the tom, mostly. She still loved him and missed
him very much, but she figured that living in sorrow and pain
wasn't going to help anything. "Oh, well. His name was,
ironically, Emptypromises." she chuckled, pulling her smile back
on. [b]"He died a while back from an unknown cause. He never got
to see his kits, either. I really do pity him for that reason."
