Why did everyone have those weird two-part names? Why would
their mothers name them that? It was so weird. Rivulet didn't
see the beauty in those types of names, but she did know that
she wanted to belong. She hadn't been sure at first, but now she
was positive that she wanted to stay in RainClan. And to really
become part of this little family, she would change her name so
it was like the rest of theirs. She would get used to it
eventually.
"GUYS!" the dark silver tabby mewled to get her clanmates'
attention. She wasn't very loud, and she hated how she sounded
when she tried to project her voice. Her face growing warm in
embarrassment, she waited anxiously for some of her clanmates to
show up.

Mazey walked out and sat by the kitten. "Ill help you out here.
" She meowed sweetly. "EVERYONE GET OVER HERE PLEASE!" She
yowled through the clan.

Teddypaw shot out of the apprentices den and looked around
wildly for a few moments before realizing...that nothing was
wrong. Boy, was he paranoid after Mazey had her kits. And it
didn't help that she was the one shouting. He tried relax before
walking over to the kitten's and his girlfriend's call.
Fallingstar poked her head out of her den, staring at the
situation for a second or two and then trotting over. She
wondered what the kitten could want all of their attention for.
Bluepaw joined sleepily.
Vilasini padded over, needing to get active and meet her
Clanmates.
Cometkit and Ashlee bounded over.

Riv shuffled her paws in embarrassment. This wasn't very
important, was it? She was just wasting their time with this
silly announcement. "I'm changing my name!" the silver kitten
mewed. "I'm gonna be Rivuletkit now..."

Mazey smiled and walked over to Teddypaw, nuzzling him with a
purr.
Electrickit nuzzled mazey's paw and walked over to Riv. He
smiled. "Hi Rivuletkit!" He purred.

"Hi--" she started to purr, but realized she didn't know his
name, so it ended all awkwardly. "Um, what's your name?"

Desolate smiled at her. Maybe he would later. Honestly, he kind
of liked the younger kitten. the brown kitten kept his eyes on
her.
