The large brown kitten trotted over. He was just two months old,
but he was big for his age, just like a certain other someone.
Seeing Mazey, he walked over and sat in front of her.

She looked at the kitten and sat down too. "Well, arent you a
cutie!" She purred, smiling. "Whats your name little one?"

He growled at her, "Don't call me cute. And I am not little."
The tom finally told her, after a bit of indecisiveness, "My
name is Emptykit."

"I can call any kitten whatever I want." She teased, cuffing the
kitten's ear playfully and gently.
Then she stopped dead. Emptykit? Empty... Emptypromises! Thats
where she heard that name before. Emptypromises! She was told
little stories about that cat's death, but she never know that
cat. "Well, my name is Mazepaw, or Mazey, and im the medicine
cat apprentice, and a queen." She purred softly.

He hit her paw away harshly, glaring at her. He didn't reply to
her when she continued.

He again, didn't reply. When she talked about him as if he was
just a kitten and didn't know anything, it seriously annoyed
him.
