i'm on my own but i am back where i belong [private]

[the song that the title came from is his theme song now :3]
He was just about two months old. The young guy had been living
normally for the entire time, and then something pulled him away
from home. He didn't know what, but now that he was here, he
knew he couldn't leave. The green-eyed brown tabby kitten was
half-starved since he couldn't hunt, but hey, he was here.
Memories had started to come back to him the day after he left,
about two weeks ago. Not much, just things about a past
childhood, as a kitten, looking like this but with a different
name. The name felt right, though, so he took it. Curled up, he
waited, hoping he would be found.

Deliriadreams padded around, after a while, she had already
gotten used to being half-blind. Blurry images were not that
bad, anymore. Deli strutted around just patrolling over
everywhere. She missed Eppy, she knew, and it'd be amazing if
she heard his voice one last time. just once. she never got to
say goodbye.

And the voice was similar, but higher pitched and a bit quieter
and less violent. "Hello?" he called out as loud as he dared. He
had heard the she-cat walking around, and thought she would
help. The kitten coughed, bracing himself against the ground.
"Hello?" he repeated, a bit louder, which was as loud as he
could be right now.

Deli swiveled and could make out a slight dark lump of fur. It
sounded like Eppy. But maybe his son. Or something.

He heard her and slowly got to his paws, then came out into the
open. He was thin, too thin. The young guy looked up at her.
Tilting his head, he thought, bu couldn't come up with a name
for her.

He hesitated before answering, not sure if he should. Finally,
he mewed softly, wanting to keep his dry/sore throat from
getting worse, "Emptykit."

EMPTY? Deli thought with a gasp. "Your n-name. E-Emptykit? Well,
sweetheart, m-m-my name's Deliriadreams. I'm the deputy of
RainClan." She grinned happily.
