Mazey spun around in a field outside of the school. She got a
new crush! His name was Theodore, and Mazey thought he was just
cute.

Theodore, or Teddy, like he preferred, sat on the metal
bleachers to finish up some homework when he noticed someone
familiar happily dancing in circles in the distance. Instantly
he recognized Mazey and he smiled. He quickly flipped to an
empty page in his notebook and began doodling the carefree girl
spinning with her arms up. He wasn't the best at drawing though,
and he usually only did blurry sketches or chibi styles.

He decided he was finished with the little sketch and he closed
the book to search for her again. Where did she go? Teddy stood
up on the silvery bench and eventually spotted Mazey sprawled
across the freshly cut grass. A big smile on his face, the
brown-haired boy bounded over to her. "What are you sleeping out
here for?" he breathed a tease, slowing to a stop beside her
limp body.

Teddy grinned and rested one hand on the back of his neck. "My
bad," he laughed, then slipped into a cross-legged position
beside her. "Since you're already "awake," I'll just hang with
you."
