Keegan just stared for several long moments as he tried to
control the confusing feelings inside. His whole body felt stiff
and frozen with shock, and he didn't understand why. He felt
angry. Revengeful. And weirdest of all, sorry for her. Ever
since she joined, he treated her like crap and suddenly he
cared. No, he couldn't believe himself right now. His claws
tried to clench the dirt beneath him that wasn't there, creating
a scratching noise against the stone floor.
Perhaps, all this time, he just wanted her to himself. That
would explain making her his slave. I mean, if he really did
hate her, why would he want to be around her? Sure, he
humiliated to her, but he literally put her in the position to
work for him.
He finally pulled his sharp gaze away from her and locked them
on the ground, gritting his teeth. "Who...who the hell did this
you?" he snarled, barely keeping himself from exploding in front
of Chris. Obviously, he was so freaking angry about this. He
wondered what she thought about his reaction...feeling
protective of her.

Chris blinked, ear flicking. She expected anger, but mainly
towards her, for being stupid and letting herself get r.ped.
What, did Keegan actually care for her? Or was he angry that
some tom took advantage of someone who did work for him? She
didn't know which was better, and decided to keep it undecided.
She stood again, not to her full height, but she wasn't
crouching any more. She opened her maw, looking for the words
she wanted to say.
"I... don't know who, exactly." her voice began a bit shakey,
but slowly mellowed out to the point where she sounded as if she
was giving a report. "But he was definitely older. And
definitely from RainClan." she tapped her foot, trying to recall
any other information. Soon, she gave up, and tipped her head to
the side. "Soooo... does that mean I can take the next few moons
off?" she asked with a light giggle, trying to lighten the mood.

RainClan? You've got to be kidding me... At first, it didn't
make sense at all. Then again, RainClan already had Bluepaw...
And with the lush forest and bounty of medicine cats, they
probably had a much better supply of herbs, and catmint (the
birthplace of a r*pist). "That little-" he snarled without
thinking, but cut himself off. This was just gonna make
everything worse, shouting swears for 10 minutes, even if he
still wanted to curse his anger away. Well...maybe later.
He attempted to calm himself down as he sat back down and
cleared his throat. "Look, I..." he began, letting out a heavy
sigh. What are you gonna do? Say a bunch of mushy crap? Shut the
h*ll up before this gets weird. The chief shook his head and
turned away. "Er, nevermind. Just...take all the time you need,"
he murmured as he slowly headed back into the den and let the
vines fall back into place.

Chris blinked, a small smile on her face. Mainly because she
didn't have to worry about work for a while... Sure, that would
get boring. But no work. She had to squeeze all the fun she
could out of that while she had it. The brown tabby took a step
away, about to turn around and leave the area. But... she
couldn't. She still had questions. What would she say if someone
asked for a father? Would her kits follow her steps the second
they're born, and become slaves? Why was Keegan being so nice to
her?
She turned back to the vines and, without second thought, poked
her head through. "Wait... uh... Keegan. I still have a few
questions, all of which involve this situation."
[ /trying to find a way for the one night stand to happen so the
adoption thread isn't a lie ;w; ]

Her voice appearing once again slowed him to a stop and caused
him to turn around to see her face again. Keegan attempted to
keep his bright orange orbs set on her green ones. He was hoping
to let himself cool off for a while before he talked to anyone,
but now he had to hold it in. And talk to Chris. About lady
problems. While he was still steaming. Perfect.
"Uh..okay. What is it then?" he inquired, now beginning to feel
a little anxious.
