Chris paced in front of Keegan's den, staring at the floor. She
needed to tell him something. Make up an excuse so she wouldn't
be able to work. Anything but admitting she was r.ped and now
pregnant. Ugh... She would have to say that she was pregnant
sooner or later. Or popping out a litter of kits would be
confusing... Maybe she could convince him that the kits belonged
to someone in the Clan? But who? Oh, who cares. Keegan wouldn't
ask, would he?
A sigh left her maw. Keegan. She would admit, she had a school
crush on the leader. Even after somewhat scarring him and all
the sh.t he gave her. It was just... he wasn't afraid to say
anything. So, to her, that was attractive. But, again, all the
hurtful words pushed her feelings farther back in her mind. Oh
well. The female stopped pacing and called into the den, not
even sure if the tom was in there.
"K-Keegan?" she stuttered, then cursed mentally at herself.

A cracked voice echoed into the den and caused him to moan and
cover his ears with his flexed paws. Keegan had found that
taking naps really passed the extra time he had, but instead of
giving him more energy, it just seemed to make him even more
sleepy. He was sick of it and had kept reminding himself to get
up, and now he really had to. He yawned and quickly pushed
himself onto his paws, then over to the den entrance.
One dark brown paw lifted to pull the thick vines out of the way
as he stood at the opening, blinking his orange optics several
times to wake him up. "Yeah?" he muttered and finally focused
his eyes on the slave. Honestly, he wasn't irritated about
seeing the sassy female, since he wanted to get out of bed
anyway. And she was entertaining.

The female took a small step back when he revealed himself,
gulping again. She pulling on a small grin, and spoke. "Hey,
I... uh... can't work. I... uh..." her tail flicked slowly.
"Just can't. Lady problems, ya know? Just wanted to let you
know." she chuckled nervously. Even though her instincts told
her to turn tail and leave, she decided to stay. Chris wanted to
see if he would let her go easily, which then she could explain
herself without remorse, or if he would question her.

Keegan just stood there and stared at her blankly for a few
moments, repeating her words in his mind just in case he heard
something wrong. Or saw something wrong. He was only half-awake,
after all. Why was she so nervous anyway? And..lady problems?
That didn't sound good. "What the hell is going on?" he growled,
though softly.

Chris grumbled, wishing she had turned tail. "I don't want to
talk about it. Especially to you, Keegan." she muttered,
averting her eyes and wishing that StarClan would just strike
her down, right there.

Like I wanted to hear about it anyway. Keegan sat down and
rolled his orange eyes. "How long will your "lady problems"
last?"

Chris flicked her tail and looked to the ground. "Well... uh.. a
few months..." that's just the pregnancy, though. What about
raising her children? After a few seconds, the female tried
slipping in the real news without much notice. "And then after I
give birth, I can do small jobs here and there." she pulled on a
smile, trying to not falter.

Confusion and annoyance finally covered his face. Five moons?!
Who the hell does this brat think she is? Keegan was about to
let out a grumbling sigh when he realized what she had said, and
his mouth was dropped open for a second. Did she just say...?
No. What? How? He slowly looked back up at her and stared for a
few more long moments. "After you give birth?" he growled,
standing up.

Instinctively, the she-cat pressed herself to the ground as the
tom stood up. She wasn't subtle enough. Dammit. The she-cat
tucked her tail inbetween her legs and averted her eyes once
again. "Mhm... I'm sort of pregnant..." tears, whether they be
from embarrassment, sadness, anger, or just hormonal, threatened
to leave her eyes. "Not that I want to be, mind you." she
muttered, more or less speaking to herself, but still loud
enough for him to here. "I was..." her voice began to pick up,
then cracked and she forced herself to whisper. [b]"r.ped. I was
r.ped."
