Keegan sat at the edge of camp, thinking about stuff.
Relationship stuff, actually. He wasn't really sure where he and
Alex were at. Were they dating, or just friends? Did he even
care for her at all? Well, maybe just the that fact that he was
thinking about her could mean there was something going on. He
began glancing around the area in hopes to find her.

Alex herself was thinking of Keegan. Why had he stood up to her
against Meg both times? She didn't completely understand. The
guard was just one of many cats in the Clan, so why would he
choose to help her? Then she began to wonder whys he was even
thinking about it. Shaking her head, she cleared her thoughts,
then entered the camp to see him nearby. Unconsciously, she
smiled, then walked towards him.

Just what the doctor ordered. There she was, and she walking
straight towards him! Keegan directed a casual nod towards Alex
as she strolled into the camp. "'Morning," he meowed, brushing
his tail over the dirt as he flicked it back and forth.

She replied with a simple, "Good morning." Alex sat down near
him, curling her tail around her paws. The she-cat didn't say
anything else; what did you say to someone when you had a crush
on them and would probably say something if you opened your
mouth? Therefore, she kept it shut until he said something else
to her.

Crap, now he had to think of something. Keegan straightened as
back and stared at nothing in front of him, looking thoughtful.
"Everything is going well at the borders?" he inquired. She was
the guard after all, so asking for a report wasn't weird. Just
an unusual start before talking about their relationship, which
he wasn't even sure if he was brave enough to get to. Most of
the time he was fine with being straightforward, but this
was...different.

She nodded, trying to act casual. "I'm kinda surprised. Usually
someone has come here by now." Alex just scuffed her paws on the
ground, eyes trained on them.

Keegan shrugged with a sigh. "Yeah.." was all he could think of
to say. All the more reason to start up some drama somewhere and
attack, but where? Hmph. He finally looked over at her and
meowed, "Maybe...we should go to them." A sly grin stretched his
maw at the thought of another raid. This wasn't really where he
wanted the conversation to be headed, but he couldn't help it.
He was so bored of lounging around camp all day, and she could
have some good advice. "Any suggestions?"

She brightened at the idea of excitement. "Maybe... RainClan?"
she replied, a smile on her face. The guard loved when the
energy was high and everyone was rushing about. It meant things
were going to get exciting; the one thing she loved. Alex met
his eyes for a moment, waiting for his decision.
