closer to her, he wrapped his tail around her. there was one
thing nagging him! though . . . kits. he'd love to be a father
one day! "hey, night? would you ever want kits? just wondering."

The question shocked her. Did she want kits? She saw her past
apprentices with them, and saw they were happy. But, then again,
her parents hated kits because they were loud and noisy. Plus,
the birth and overall pregnancy could be a pain, and she was a
leader, she would have no time for her children! She could be a
horrible mother and her kits could hate her and-
She stopped herself. Of course she wouldn't be that bad of a
mother. And wasn't she just complaining about how nothing
happened in her life and she had to much time on her paws? The
female giggled and nodded towards her mate. "Of course I would
want kits. I'm pretty sure almost every female wants kits." she
purred.

he nodded thoughtfully then smiled. "you can tell me if you are
ever ready to have them. i'm ready when you are." he purred,
giving her a playful wink. he really didn't care when!

Night flicked her ear, thinking for a moment. Would she ever be
more ready than now? For all she knew, tomorrow there could be
an attack, that would lead to a death of someone, which would
mean she wouldn't be stable enough for a moon or two. Then
something else could happen... she moved her black paw and
attempted to place it on the tom's shoulder. Blush showed
clearly on her face.
"Jasper... I... I really do want kits and... well, what better
time than now? Its peaceful in the Clan and..." she shifted her
weight, wanting to look away from his eyes to hide her blush,
but didn't do so.

reassuring smile. "a-alright." he finally said, giving her cheek
a lick. it was time. "tell me when you're ready for . . . you
know."

Night thought about doing what normal she-cats do, attacking the
male after their session, but put the thought aside and crawled
over to him. She stuck out her tongue at the way he spoke,
fighting the urge to giggle. Hey, she wasn't going to attack,
but that didn't mean she couldn't be a sour butt for a bit! "I
didn't expect it to hurt so much.." she admitted, looking down.
