Marissa stood still, sweat on her brow. She had been traveling
for days straight, and was obviously being effected by it. She
turned her baseball cap back around, so the protruding part was
over her face. She stopped for a second and sat down on a nearby
log. She looked at her belt and chose a ball off of it. She
moved it around in her hand then let the pokemon out - Delcatty.
The tan and purple cat was her first caught pokemon. And only as
a Skitty, at that. The two had a connection and she knew right
away that this would be her favorite pokemon. Because of that,
she raised Delcatty to level fifty, and is striving to her make
her stronger.
"Catty?" she mrowed to Marissa, causing her to smile.

A young Magby spotted Marissa from a small distance. "Mag?" He
murmured. As he started to walk over, he easily tripped over a
log. "Byyy!" He cried as be tumbled down. "Mag..." He groaned as
he finally landed.

Marissa stood up quickly. A Magby? She hadn't seen one without
its trainer or mother before... She patted Delcatty's head
before going on her knees. "C'mere, little guy. Are you lost?"

Magby got to his feet and looked up at Marissa. "Mag?" He didn't
have a trainer, and lived around few other younger Pokemon in a
forest a short while back.

She thought about catching the Magby, but refrained herself. She
wanted to be sure that it didn't have any trainer. She motioned
to the direction it came from. "Do you want me to bring you
back?"
Delcatty, being very motherly, purred and trotted over to the
Magby. She tried to touch her nose to the baby pokemon.

Magby blushed a bit when Delcatty touched her nose to his. "By!
By!" He chirped, then looked up at Marissa again. "Mag!" He
looked back as heard footsteps coming.
"Magby! There you are!" A girl with curly brown hair, a red
t-shirt, navy blue jeans, and purple boots came running through
the trees towards Magby, who was hers. The trainer was Maddie.
Magby didn't really live with that group of Pokemon, him and
Maddie were exploring around that area for a few days.
"Sorry about that, he wandered off and I didn't see where he
went." Maddie said to Marissa as she picked Magby up.
"Mag!" Magby greeted his trainer.
OOC- Gosh, when Magby says the last part of his name, it's
spelled 'By' but it's pronounced 'bee'. I'm afraid you'll get
confused xD

Delcatty looked up at the trainer, confused.
"Oh, its okay. I'm glad you found him." Marissa giggled, turning
her baseball cap back around. "I'm Marissa. And this is
Delcatty." she motioned to the pokemon, who was affectionately
rubbing against her trainer's legs.

"I'm Maddie." She smiled, then glanced down at Delcatty. "Hiya,
Delcatty!" She took a berry out of her backpack and offered it
to the cat Pokémon.
Magby stared at the berry hungrily.

Marissa giggled as Delcatty sniffed the berry curiously, then
attempted to grab it and hide behind her trainer. "So," the girl
started. "Where ya heading?"

"Just the next town. I'm gonna challenge the gym. Hey, you wanna
battle? Maybe I could get my Pokémon a little stronger for when
I get there."
