       Do You Remember? (BLAH)
       By: Raven` Date: April 28, 2014, 9:10 am
       ---------------------------------------------------------
[center][size=8pt]( So I was like "I'm bored." and started
brainstorming ideas. I thought up several, like a girl going
mentally insane, or somebody losing somebody important, but
tricking themselves to thinking that they didn't... The latters
a bit confusing, and I still plan to do it. But later. This is
the story I decided to do<3
And I know, I'm not the best of writers :P )
The sun had risen high in the blue sky that fateful day. Few
clouds drifted around while the birds tweeted and some squirrels
squeaked. Two teenage girls were walking through the park, both
chatting and eating ice cream. Both oblivious to the event that
was to happen ahead of them.
The girl on the right, Rosaline, was tall. About 5'8. She had
brown hair that cascading past her shoulders in perfect beach
waves. Her hazel-brown eyes sparkled when she licked her
chocolate icecream. She had a cute little button nose and a
little beauty mark to the right of her nose. Rosaline also had a
figure. Normal figure, but still a bit bigger than her friend.
The girl on the left was named Alaya. This girl was slightly
shorter than her brunette friend; only 5'6. She had long,
straight bleach blond hair that bordered her face perfectly, and
baby blue eyes to match. She, too, had a button nose. But no
birthmark. And, just like her friend, she had a figure. Though,
she was a bit smaller than her friend that chuckled beside her.
       It didn't bother her much.
Alaya was wearing light blue shorts and white stockings under
them, blue converse, and a loose shirt that fell off of one of
her shoulders. Rosaline was wearing an oversized sweatshirt, her
boyfriend's, that went past her bum. She wore leggings under it
along with high-tops. The girls stopped their walk and looked
       around the park, bored.
"Alaya, look over there," Rosaline pointed over, across the
park, where she spotted her boyfriend. The big football player,
Max. All the girls wanted him, and the brunette considered
herself lucky to have him to herself. Beside Max was Mark,
another football player and Alaya's on-and-off boyfriend. Alaya
nodded and waved her hand to the two, smiling. The two grinned
       and began walking towards them.
Alaya and Rosaline took this moment to touch up each other and
themselves, then smiled to their boyfriends.
"Hey, Rosy." Max grinned, leaning down and giving her a peck on
the lips. She giggled and gave him a light hug.
"Layaaaaa!" Mark called his girlfriend's nickname, pulling her
into a tight hug and rocking her back and forth.
"Hey, calm down, Mark. You'll make me drop my ice cream!" Alaya
giggled, gently pushing him away and giving her strawberry ice
       cream a lick.
"Hey, you girls wanna go to the mall?" Max suggested, stealing
Rosaline's ice cream and giving it a few licks before giving it
       back to her.
"You ass." She pouted, thought joy and happiness was in her
eyes. Max saw this and decided to scoop her up and carry her,
       bridal style.
"Sure! I wanna get some new nail polishes." Alaya squealed,
causing Mark to roll his eyes.
"I'm fine with it." Rosaline said, after giving up trying to get
       out of Max's grip.
"Then lets go already! Nail polish isn't going to be there all
day!" Alaya tugged on Mark's arm.
The four teens walked over to Max's car. Alaya and Mark got in
the back seat, Max sat in the driver's and Rosaline in the
passenger seat. Max turned the key to start the engine, and
       groaned when it sputtered.
"I hate this piece of sh.it." Max grumbled, turning the key over
and over again until the engine started. "I can't wait till I
have enough to get a new car." he looked over at his girl, who
was giggling quietly. A smile was brought to his face. She was
so adorable. Looking back to the road, he pulled out of his spot
       and began driving.
It started halfway through the drive. Max noticed how his breaks
weren't working so well. He didn't say anything; he didn't want
to worry any one. He saw the redlight, he really did. But the
breaks, they didn't work. They wouldn't stop the car. They
       wouldn't stop anything.
"Max, that's a red light..." Rosaline said, arching her eyebrow.
She was confused on why he hadn't started slowing down. They
were going over sixty, surely he didn't think he could stop so
       quickly.
"Yeah, man. Start slowing down. You know this hunk of junk won't
       stop immediately." Mark commented.
Alaya realized right away what was wrong, but was in so much
shock about it that she couldn't say anything about it. Next was
Mark, who was beginning to panic. Finally Rosaline realized.
"The breaks are broken." she said, voice monotone. Just then,
they sped through the red light. They thought they were fine,
they thought everything would be okay. But then everything
became white noise. And everything... hurt.
A truck had hit them. Smacked right into the side where both
Alaya and Rosaline sat. Screams were muffled by the blood
pumping in everyone's ears. Airbags popped out, but that didn't
       stop the car from rolling.
When everything was over, nobody knew what to do. What to say.
All they knew was that was the deadliest thing they could ever
       do.
Then they realized. More specifically, the boys realized.
       The girls had stopped screaming.
       They weren't even crying.
Mark, even though he was cut and bruised by the broken class and
car door parks, searched for Alaya. He screamed her name, trying
to find her in the smoky mess. Max was doing the same, no matter
his injuries, and found his girlfriend easier. Mark found his
and they both held them close, crying into their hair.
Alaya felt broken, inside and out. She couldn't feel anything,
and blamed it on the adrenaline. She was awake, but didn't have
the strength to open an eye. She listened to her boyfriend. She
heard the ambulance sounds and people yelling for them to get
out of the car. She listened and felt herself being moved.
Finally, she was given the gas. She allowed herself to go to
sleep, telling herself that if she was to pass away, then she
       would do it in sleep.
Rosaline felt... well, she didn't know. All she knew was that
she wanted to sleep. That she wanted to squeeze her eyes shut
and visit a familiar dream land. But she couldn't. She heard
distant cries of her name, and just barely felt strong arms wrap
around her. She felt herself be pulled from the car and put on a
gurney. She fell into sleep quickly, once the mask was put on
       her.
It had been a week since all that had happened. Max and Mark
were free to leave a few days before, and so was the driver of
the truck. But Rosaline and Alaya stayed behind. Neither woke
up, and when they did, they would scream in pain or agony and be
forced to be put back to sleep. Max and Mark slipped into the
girl's room after being told that they were awake, but be
       careful.
Max walked over to Rosaline's bed, eyes looking over her. Many
tubes were in her arms, and even one in her throat to help her
breath. Her brown eyes looked over at him, and his heart
dropped. No, there wasn't anger, sadness, pain. There was...
nothing. No recognition of him. He turned his head slightly and
saw the clipboard that sat at the end of her bed. He looked at
       it.
Broken leg, fractured arm, few arteries burst, major amnesia-
Amnesia. His girlfriend... couldn't remember him. She... Tears
filled his eyes and he put the clipboard back down and sat down
in the chair beside her bed. She didn't protest, still watching
him. He looked over at Mark, who was talking to Alaya quietly.
He had given her a marker and a wipeboard to help talk. It
seemed she hadn't had the same fate as Rosaline.
Reaching over to the table, he grabbed a marker and a wipeboard
as well. He shakily passed it to her, and she accepted it.
Slowly, she pressed the marker to the board and formed letters.
He chuckled, finding it a bit funny that she was using her right
hand. She forgot she was left handed. Cute. Leaning over, he
gently corrected her, switching the marker into the other hand.
She glared at him, but tried anyways. She formed neater letters
and a bit quicker, might I add. She then passed the board to
       him.
       Who are you?
Max sighed and wrote under it.
I'm your boyfriend. Don't you remember me?
She read it slowly, then looked back at him, with shocked brown
eyes. She then began to scribble under that.
       You have to be mistaking.
He shook his head and let tears roll down his cheeks.
"No, I'm not." He looked up and saw Mark talking to a nurse. He
       looked over at Max.
"We gotta go, dude. Its feeding time, or whatever." Mark said,
sighing. Alaya looked to Max, pity carved into her face. He
       nodded and stood up.
"I'll seeya tomorrow, Rosy.." she blushed and looked away from
Max, who sighed in pain. The two males left the room and slowly
       walked down the hallway
