Decembersnow hated it here, to be honest. Moving here only made
her even more miserable. Sure, she saw her mate... most of the
time and the other half of her kits. But what about those she
left at home? Her apprentices? What about her line of work? Her
paws itched to do something here, and she couldn't do anything
because of her lack of legs and knowledge. It SUCKED.

Coalstar slipped in beside his dear mate, purring for a moment
or two until he noticed her expression. "Um, everything
alright?" he asked, and was soon regretting it. Of course
everything wasn't alright. She left the icy cold home she loved
so much to come to the scorching hot canyons. She left her work,
some of her family, and her FrozenClan pride to see the rest of
her family. And what did they do? Go on with their life as if
nothing changed. He wanted to spend more time with her, he
needed too. And then there was her duties. Perhaps he should
discuss promoting her with the medicine cats, or at least
letting her help.

The munchkin turned slowly and looked up at the tom, putting on
a simple smile. "Oh, everything's... fine." she winced a bit
when saying the last word, as if it actually hurt her. It did,
in a way. She was lying to the love of her life, even though she
was sure he knew what was true. "Its just.... I don't know. So
quiet around here. Back in FrozenClan...." she trailed off,
sighing. "Nevermind. I'm fine. What about you?"

Morningdawn yawned tiredly and walked over, seeing a sad face.
"What's wrong December?" She mowed.

"Nothing." The female insisted towards the medicine cat.
Although she knew most of the cats in the Clan, but she didn't
trust many of them with her feelings. Only a select few and
sadly, it didn't include this cat. "Just don't worry about it,
okay?"

Coalstar sat himself down right beside the former medicine cat,
watching her face as she reassured Morningdawn for a few moments
before sliding his green gaze over to the sleepy she-cat. At
first he just thought of her as nosy, then again, he figured she
was just trying to be friendly. Not wanting to make Deccy any
more uncomfortable by asking for more information, he nodded in
agreement with his mate. "Everything is fine," he meowed. He
decided he would try to talk to her about it later, in private.
Or perhaps he could surprise her with something. Hmm.

"Hello, Lucarkit." Decembersnow smiled cheerfully at the sight
of the kitten, who almost made her go into shock by making her
believe that he was Coalstar's kit.
