[font=georgia][size=8pt]The German Shepard laid lazily near the
lake of their territory. Her eyes struggled to stay open as she
fought the sleep that was cast on her. Ughhhh it was such a
boring day!

An almost fully grown wolf stood on the other side of the river,
watching her. Forrest was from RainClan, but he hadn't visited
Izabella in a while, so here he was.

The brown and black dog let her gaze travel along, until she saw
a shape across the river. She scrambled to her feet and arched
her back, teeth bared. She narrowed her eyes to focus on the
wolf, them stood up straight and yipped. "Forrest!"

He grinned before wading into the river, adjusting to the cold
before he began to swim towards her. The wolf wasn't the best
swimmer, but he could manage. When he finally got to the other
side, he shook the water out of his fur and smiled. "Izzy!"

"Hey, no need to get me wet!" she giggled, bowing down in a play
bow. "I haven't seen you since the move! How're ya?"

The dog stood up and looked at him square in the eye. She wanted
to tell him, so bad. But... she was holding back. She was afraid
of him turning around and running off. Afraid that she would
have to raise pups by herself... Actually, either way, she
probably would have to. She wouldn't leave her Clan and she knew
he wouldn't leave his. Sighing, she flattened her ears and bowed
her head, showing submission.
"Forrest... I... uh, I'm..." she used her muzzle to motion to
her stomach, which was beginning to get plump. Not to noticeable
though.

He didn't understand at first. After a few seconds, he got what
she meant. Forrest didn't know what to say; his mind had drawn a
blank. After a few seconds, a smile broke onto his face, and it
reached his eyes. He wasn't just faking it. "Really?" he asked,
eyes bright. He knew that if she asked, he would join DevilClan
in an instant so that she didn't have to raise them alone.

Izabella put on a soft smile, lifting her head slightly to look
in his eyes. "Would I lie to you about such a thing?" she asked,
letting out a soft giggle. "Anyways, yes. I'm pretty sure. I'm
getting fatter everyday, my appetite has grown and... I think
one of them kicked a few days ago..." she looked down at her
stomach at the thought, smiling. Her smile dropped and she
looked back at him.
"I'm afraid, Forrest. What are we going to do? I don't want to
raise pups on my own.."

stay here. You shouldn't have to do it alone."
