A boy of about fifteen years sat in the park, on a bench. He was
bored and his siblings were not with him, so he was looking to
find someone to talk to. Felix sighed, looking at the ground.

Berry, a petite pale 15-year-old with shoulder-length light
blonde hair, silently headed down the light gray sidewalk in her
black flats. Her hair was thin, and curled slightly at the ends.
She was a wearing a pink bow headband settled on the top of her
head, a loose, white off-shoulder top bouncing in the gentle
breeze, and tight, dark gray skinny jeans hugging her toothpick
legs. She looked a little out of place, though, with a large and
heavy gray and white patterned backpack hanging off her bare
shoulder. She had to switch it to different sides often to keep
from getting too sore. Eventually she decided to rest for a
little bit and slowed down next to the closest bench. She was
about to sit down when she noticed Felix there, and her heart
began to pound. She had heard about him at the school, being one
of the guys most girls at her table called "hot." He was pretty
handsome, but she never admitted it or joined in with her
fawning friends about it. Boys made her nervous. She bit her lip
and finally rested her tiny self onto the bench, since it would
be kinda rude if she just left after seeing him. I hope he
doesn't recognize me, or try to start a conversation, or...I
don't know. Berry stared off into the distance, trying to avoid
even looking his way.

(this is what felix will look like, i guess, since i hadn't
decided yet. i have pictures for each character)
He would have decided to talk to her, except for the fact that
it seemed like she didn't want him to. The fair-skinned boy
stayed silent for a while, and when it began to grow awkward, he
finally looked over at her and said with an amused look on his
face, "I don't bite, you know." When he looked at her, she
seemed kind of familiar, so he tried to remember. After a few
seconds it clicked, and he asked, "Berry, right?"

Berry spun her head around to look at him when she heard his
voice, her light-colored bob softly bouncing back into place.
Faint red blush accented her pretty pastel cheeks at his
well-meaning tease. She almost couldn't believe he was talking
to her, being pretty shy around boys and at school and all. The
blonde replied with a slight nod to answer his inquiry. "And
you're Felix?" she questioned afterwards, one hand tightly
clutching the strap on her book bag.

He nodded, smiling slightly. "I've seen you around a few times.
I think you're in one or two of my classes."

Berry nodded her head again and reached her hand up to slide her
bangs out of they way, whether they actually were or not. "Yeah,
I think so," she answered, giving him a small but shy smile as
well. She wished she could just die right then and there. What
was she supposed to say next? Oh gosh, hopefully he was good at
keeping a conversation going because, well, she wasn't.

He smiled. "Well, it's nice to finally talk to you. You seem to
always avoid me whenever I try to talk to you," Felix replied.

Berry kept her widened blue orbs fixed on her twiddling thumbs.
She felt like she was going to melt, her face and neck growing
hot as she reached on hand up to slide her hair behind her ear.
"Oh. Really? Um...sorry, I guess I didn't notice," she murmured,
smiling at him with embarrassment. Okay, so maybe she had been
purposely avoiding him, but she had no idea he actually wanted
to talk to her. "What did you want to talk about then?"

He shrugged. "I'm not sure. You just seemed like a nice girl,
and I wanted to get to know you."
