The slightly bipolar cub moved slightly to the left, making sure
the antelope couldn't scent or see him. Then he stopped moving
as he came close. After a few seconds of waiting, he lunged at
it, startling it and making it start to run. He chased after it
for a short moment and then struck the young antelope to the
ground. He bit down on its neck before it could try to get away
from him.

He smiled at her, then stepped back, waiting for her to tell him
if he should bring it back or whatever.

He nodded. "Alright." Tomorrow, he'd probably be back to his old
grumpy self. Jacobus began to drag the antelope back.

The female huffed, tail dragging in the dirt. All until she
heard that the tom was leaving. She happily skipped over to the
Lead Lioness, tail flicking. "Are we gonna catch something
else?"
[ when will the parents tell jacobus & delilha about the
arranged mate thingy? ]

Kiri grinned and started walking until she stopped in her tracks
at the sight of the antelopes mentioned. She lay low to the
ground, then started slowly stalking forward, tail flicking
anxiously.
