Kaiser rested in the sun, the tip of his tail flicking. The
young lion yawned, and gazed around. Yeah, I know, a male in a
Pride isn't exactly the most normal thing. But this male was
very submissive; he'd never try taking down the leader. EVER.
Dahlila was playing with her little sister, Dotty, and smiled.
The two were running around in the dirt and dust, causing a
ruckus.

There was the other male in the pride as well, and he was not
the leader either. Instead, he was a prince, one of the children
of the leader and his wife. He would take over once his father
was gone. He stuck out among the pride; he was the only pure
white lion there. His mane had started to grow, but barely. He
looked around, then lowered his head to the ground. Jacobus
sighed, bored.

Kiri sat in the tall grass, blending in with her tan fur. It was
a slow day, and the Lead Lioness was bored like the others.
Maybe her mate had something to do? Or should she just keep
sitting there? She shrugged and lay down, bored, yet enjoying
the sun on her fur.

The adolescent saw his mother in the grass and crouched down,
slowly inching towards her. When he reached but four feet
downwind from her, he lunged at her, attempting to land on her.

Kiri yelped in surprise as her son pounced on her. Realizing who
it was, she laughed, and aimed to playfully flip him back over
with a paw.

He grinned as he heard her yelp, then laughed as she flipped him
over. Right now, he was in a rare playful mood, so he attempted
to nip her paw.

She laughed some more, letting her ears be swatted. She then
aimed to pin him down playfully.

He yelped as she pinned him down, then surged upwards, trying to
get her off.
