Land of Shades (Help us get a SUBBOARD!!)

[center]Deep in the black forest, where the bravest won't go
and the only sound comes from the dead in the ground, lies an
large white building.
Here, the trees grow white and leaveless and trap those who
continue heedless.
Here, the sky is the color of a raven's wing and the banshees
sing.
Here, the desperate gathers and darkness answers.
Here, is the Land of Shades.
Those who walk the line of reality are welcome here.
Those who hide in the shadows may walk freely.
Those who have been outcast may find a home.[/center]
And what all that cryptic crap means is, this is a land of cats
with powers. It began as a lab experiment with cats. Attempting
to give them abilities. They were used like lab rats for the
powers that would be later graphed onto human genomes. Not every
subject survived. To keep off the grid, the owns of the lab
bound a demon to the land to power the lab. The demon that was
tied to the land was a nekomata, or a two tailed fire cat demon.
The demon watched what was happening to it's distant relatives
and grew angry, poisoning and distorting the land. After years
of being bound, a fool set of kids came into the forest
surrounding the lab. They performed a kind of ritual without
knowing what it would do and they released the demon from its
bondage. As a thank you, the demon let the kids leave. Those
within the lab weren't so lucky. It released the cats from the
cages and taught them how to live in the wild with their
abilities. The demon became their leader, although few knew it
was actually a demon, and in turn for their loyalty, it protects
them from any twoleg who may enter the forest. All cats are
welcome here. Whether their demons or mutants or some other sort
of mythological feline being. Before you go, let me ask you a
question.

Ability: creating and controlling fire, can use it to teleport
from place to place so long as there is a fire going. There is
always a fire going in the camp. She makes sure the warriors
keep it going.
Appearance: Around her cats, she simply looks like a black cat
with two tails. Odd yes, but seeing as some cats around here
have six eyes and part plant, it's not tha weird. When she is
keeping humans away, she takes many forms. And when she is angry
or in a fight or around other demons, she is a huge tiger like
cat made up entirely of fire. But no matter what form she takes,
she has the same bright orange eyes that literally glow like
dying embers. Mortal cats are usually very attracted to her
because she is a demon.
Personality: Around her cats, she is pleasant and kind. Always
willing to help and has a lot of insight into any of their
problems. She's very alluring to others but at the same time
gives off a feeling of danger. Few mess with her. When she is
keeping humans away, she is terrifying and vengeful. When she is
with other demons, she is cold and mysterious and always on her
toes. And when she is alone, she is playful and loveable. Her
favorite thing to do is play catch with a friend. But since she
has few moments to herself or friends to play with, this doesn't
happen very often.
History: You really think I'm writing all that stuff down when
even she's forgotten how old she is?

Oh heck yes.
Name: Leo
Nickname: None
Age: 12 moons
Gender: Tom
Race: Mutant
Appearance: Dark brown fur that almost looks black. Has a thick
mane but otherwise his fur is very spotty. In some places he
doesnt have any at all. He also has large, leathery bat wings.
He is constantly tripping over things and flaps open his wings
to keep himself from falling. He does a good job of hurting
people like that. He also has large ears that gives him
heightened hearing and a smashed up face. His eyes are bright
yellow.
Personality: He's kind of a dork. He falls over things a lot and
apoligizes more than he should. He has a kind of unintentional
humor about him. The more embarassed he gets, the more he
studders. He's also afraid to fly, even though he knows how.
Instead he settles for fluttering from place to place. If you
even get him mad though, he's incredibly scary and won't stop
until his enemies are gone. Don't mess with the people he cares
about.

Gender: she-cat
Race: minor demon
Appearance: thick leafy green fur with small flowers all over.
Bright yellow eyes.
Personality: She's very sweet if your friends with her. Other
wise she's very mischievous and gets into everything. She's also
very helpful when she wants to be. She uses her ability to make
and control plants to heal people.

Nickname: Aqua or "bubbles" as she's known by her closest
friends
Age: she doesn't remember

Race: ummmm....Mercat?
Rank: apprentice
Ability: she has the ability to control all water. She can
breath under water too. She grows a fish like tail, fins, and
webbed paws when shes underwater. She can communicate with fish
too! Though she usually uses it for eating them! ;)
Her greatest weakness is lightning. If lighting strikes her, she
will go into a coma for up to 1 week, so she's terrified of
storms
Appearance: a pretty sleek blue gray she cat with white paws and
bright sea-green eyes
Personality: outgoing and friendly, Aquamarine is always on the
go. She's always upbeat and cheery and tries to make the best of
the worst situations.
History(optional): experimented on in the lab, they were trying
to find out if they could make a cat like water and even make it
swim and live underwater. After many angry and dead cats,
Aquamarine was a success. She was realized into the wild two
years after her powers developed. She doesn't remember much, but
she loves living in the wild.
