       Fire Breathing Lions
By: Spotteh Date: March 24, 2014, 11:44 pm
       ---------------------------------------------------------
Nepeta bounced happily beneath a tree at the edge of her forest.
She was going to meet Terezi for the furst time! They had talked
plenty of times through chat and were good roleplay buddies but
they'd never met in real life. Equius had tried to stop her,
warning her that she should be careful because Terezi spent a
lot of time talking with Vriska, whom Nepeta wasn't that fond
of, but she blew him off. He was just an over-purrtective sweaty
weirdo. Unfortunately, Nepeta and Terezi didn't exactly live
close to each other. Though they both lived in forests, they
were completely different. While Nepeta's had plenty of sharp
cliffs and steep hills filled with all kinds of wild creatures,
Terezi's was mostly flat and at least somewhat protected since
she didn't hunt fur her food. That wouldn't stop Nepeta though!
She'd thought about it for hours and hours on how to meet her
friend. If she could go and see her creepy meowrail who lived
over a canyon in the middle of no where, she could get together
with her friend for some LARPing fun. In the end, they'd come to
a compromise. Nepeta would go to the eastern edge of her forest,
since she already lived deep deep within the forest where the
trees began creeping up the mountains, and Terezi would come to
her since she lived on the edge of her forest. Here, the jagged
mountains had dissolved into soft hills, where Nepeta waited
excitedly at the crest of one. Any time now her friend would be
here. She would just have to wait. And then they would have some
serious fun!! She was so excited!!!

Terezi was excited, sure. Just not as much as little Nepeta. I
mean, a blind girl traveling over a distance to meet a friend
she was never going to see? Not so fun. She wasn't even sure if
she was going the right way. She frequently had to taste the
ground, and it did NOT taste good at all. Not even a slight hint
of red. Terezi knew she was getting close, and if she wasn't,
she was lost. But, she tasted the ground once more to realize
there was a little green something in the distance. OH HELL YES.
She gave a big, toothy grin and began running with that dragon
walking stick of hers towards Nepeta. "H3Y, N3P!"

[s]You should have seen the post I did just before I made this.
That one was LONG. Also, keep in mind that Terezi didn't go
blind until later on when FLARPing became a thing.[/s]
Nepeta squeaked happily and immediately launched herself at her
friend for a true Leijon hug. "TEREZI!!!" It only took her a few
seconds before she reached the teal blood, going in to tackle
her at full speed. "How are you!? Did you have any trouble? How
far did you come? I'M SO GLAD YOU'RE HERE!!" Oh boy. She'd
better start reigning it in. She was starting to sound like
       Feferi now.

       [s]fml.
oh shoot! Okay thanks spot spot[/s]
The teal blood gave a crooked smile as Nepeta greeted her,
crossing her arms and laughing. "Hey!~" Terezi snickered and
shook her head. "No, didn't have any trouble except my tastebuds
are, like, dead. I'm glad I'm here, Nep." She gave a low
whistle. "You've got a nice forest!" Terezi glanced over her
friend's shoulder to see the forest, turning her red eyes back
towards Nepeta. "So, old Equius finally let you play, huh?"

[s]I'm confused now. Is she blind?[/s]
Nepeta gave her a wide feline grin. "Nope! I told him to go
punch a robot, I'm meeting my friend!" She chirped happily as
though it was no big thing. She did have a bit of a reputation
fur being innocent and going along with whatefur her meowrail
said but she was also blissfully unaware of it. Though, Terezi
shouldn't expect that from her. She'd had plenty conversations
with the shorter troll to know that she wasn't innocent by any
means. "Next time I'll go to your forest!"

       [s]no not anymore ;v;[/s]
"Sounds good. So, do you want to go around before we play?"
Terezi blinked and yawned, giving her friend some choices. Also,
would they play on the same team or against each other? She
certainly didn't want to kill Nepeta, but if that was the way
the game played out, so be it. But, justice would be served to
       whatever happened unfairly. JUSTICE.

[s]If she's no longer blind, her eyes should be the same yellow
and grey as Nepeta. It's due to damage from the sun that turned
       her eyes red.[/s]
"Hm..." What to do, what to do? "You should come to my hive!!!
It's kind of a walk but we can get something to eat once we get
there!!" She said before darting away without checking if her
friend was following along. At the edge of the forest, she
slowed down long enough to check if Terezi was following her
before ducking into the dense underbrush.

[s]/flail/ sorry, i just always draw Terezi with red eyes, or
her glasses, so I guess I'm used to her red eyes. /cough, i'll
       do it right now[/s]
Terezi smiled and ran after Nepeta, a few feet behind the fast
olive green blooded little kitty. She gave a little laugh of fun
and entered the underbrush, already a little tired. She lived in
a forest, yes, but the things out there were dangerous, and the
only thing that could protect her was an egg that hadn't even
hatched yet! So, she preferred to stay inside with the Mayor and
       his accomplices.

[s]It's alright dearie. No harm done.[/s]
Upon entering the forest, Nepeta had changed the way she walked
and now sprinted easily through the trees without making any
sound at all. Ever so often, she'd stop beside a tree to make
sure her friend was still with her. She'd only wait a few
moments though before darting along. The main reason she did
this was to make sure that there was nothing up ahead that might
want to eat them for dinner. Nepeta finally stopped at the edge
of a creek. She could tell Terezi was getting tired. She must
not do much distant running. They still had a long way to go,
but the night was young. They had plenty of time. And if Terezi
ended up staying the day, well that was no loss to her. She
wouldn't mind a sleepover in the slightest. "Do you wanna stop
for a little while?" She asked, still hyped up and alert. The
area around the creek was fairly clear, with only tall trees
around them. There was no bushes here, and that made the little
cat girl a bit uncomfortable. On one hand, no predators would be
able to sneak up on them, on the other, they couldn't hide
anywhere if they needed too. But they should be fine. Most of
the wild creatures around here were either harmless or avoided
her. She and Pounce had made it very clear who this territory
belonged to. Pink and green moonlight filtered down through the
       tree leaves.

Terezi huffed and placed her hands on her knees. "Pfff, no...
huuuuuuff, you-you go and, y'know. Oh screw it, I'm still
following you." She gave a little heave of breath and smiled
reasurringly to her friend. "I'm good, let's keep going." She
noticed Nepeta was still on edge around here, but Terezi didn't
see a problem. It was a lot like home here.
