What's this I've found? {Cat at the border}

The dense brush near the Tribe's border shook with the presence
of something. A small rodent hopped out at the base of a tree,
just within the border. Hidden lilac paws kneaded the ground
eagerly. The small rodent jumped closer to her position,
snuffling along the ground for something to eat. Closer...
closer... Now! The purple tinted tabby cat darted out of her
bush and killed the little rodent with one quick but messy bite.
The cat was just barely 6 moons old, and only looked five. Her
once pretty lilac fur was now dulled and matted with dirt and
dust, and one could see sharp ribs beneath it. This little
rodent she'd caught was probably the first thing she'd had in a
while. That was confirmed based on how fast she ripped into the
little animal. Much of her appearance seemed dull, but between
her sharp orange eyes and oversized ears, alert for any sounds,
she was anything but. However, she didn't know she'd just
trespassed and stolen prey from the clan that lived there. She'd
find out soon enough.

A light brown tom with electric blue eyes walked out of a bush,
noticing the young cat seconds later. "Hey." Technoeyes greeted
plainly, walking over to her.

The little cat gobbled down the last bit of mouse as the cat
approached. With a small burp, she sat down and smiled at
Technoeyes. "Hi!" She responded happily.

She just stared at him. What was he talking about? Who was 'us'?

Clan. Were a group of cats. Not really much to say about it, but

"A clan?" She tipped her head to the side. "What's it like?" She
wasn't sure if she wanted to join. This whole thing was weird.
If there was a group of cats here, shouldn't she be getting in
trouble for being on their territory?
