Licking the pad, Gunshot pulled out the thorn and disposed of it
in a corner. "Let's go find that furball." Although his words
may not have been the nicest, the laughter in his voice conveyed
that Gunshot had no ill feeling for the tiny medicine cat
apprentice.

"Yes..." Lily nodded, though she was somewhat worried. Rapidkit
was still a kit, and if he wasn't in camp... Lily just hoped he
hadn't been eaten by a fox or something.

that he could see everything with his one yellow eye.

"This is weird,"Lily commented. "Are medicine kits even allowed
to go search for herbs? I mean, he's sort of an apprentice, but
he's still like a kit's age, and he shouldn't be out here
alone.." The she-cat's voice droned on and on. She could go on
forever.

cats. "Is something going on?" she asked, noting how Gunshot was
looking around.

Another cat approaching from where he couldn't see! Gunshot let
out a hiss of frustration. "We're looking for Rapidkit. Been a
while since we saw him, and..." The tom trailed off.
