Lunarstar's story. (First person view)

The first thing I saw was pitch black. I opened my eyes for the
first time, and the first thing I saw was horrible faces of
guilt. I wondered what was wrong, all until I looked down seeing
two breath-less kits. My heart lurched. My brother and sister
were dead! I looked around and saw a fat white tom named
Blizzardkit. He was stubbernly trying to get milk, I snickered
as I watched the queen scold him many times. That kit was so
greedy! I got up slowly and walked up to the kit. He was 2 moons
older than me! He was 5 moons, and still needed his mother's
milk! I held back historical laughter. Than Blizzardkit looked
at me. "So the great runt opens her eyes!" She spat at me
rudely. I held back a retort, but it slipped out. "Atleast im
not five moons and needs my mother's milk!" I regretted saying
that. The next few days, I had to watch the elders clean of
ticks, and change their sweaty bedding. I hated life here. So, I
sneaked out of camp. I sniffed something that didnt smell like
my mother's sweet milk or my clanmates. I followed the scent
into a dark den, and saw a sleeping orange creature. I heard the
elders talk about these! They were foxes! Scarred-eye said that
a fox scratched his eye out! Well, did I want revenge! I walked
up and bit the foxes neck. It woke up with a jolt and started
flinging me around trying to get me off. I only bit harder and
sunk my unusually sharp teeth into its neck. It howled and woke
up other foxes. I watched as the one fox ran away, than did the
same thing to the other foxes. Boy was Silverstar going to be
proud! I saw him rush out of camp, eyes wide as he saw me snap
at a fleeing fox. "Tell me that kit didnt chase away 3 foxes or
call me Eldersniffer!" He meowed in surprise. I looked at him
and he looked down at me. I knew what was coming. I was getting
an apprentice ceremony!
I walked out of camp for my assessment with my mentor,
Swifbreeze. This was my last day of training! I was going to
become a warrior! We came back to camp with tuns of prey that I
caught. We put them into the pile, than my leader called a
meeting. My stomach chruned. I was being made a warrrir! "I,
Silverstar of EclipseClan, call upon my warrior ancestors to
look down on this apprentice. She has trained hard and learned
your warrior code, and I commend him to you in her turn." I
didnt hear the rest. I was dizzy with excitement. "From this day
on, Lunarpaw shall be known as Lunarmoon. StarClan honors her
loyalty, braveness.." He paused. "And leadership." I didnt think
he had the right words. Leadership? I wasnt even a full warrior
yet!
Many many moons later..... I became a loner. Our camp was raided
and taken over my vicious loners, too much for me to fight. I
have been gone for as long as I can remember! I missed my
Clan... maybe the loners were weak enough for me to claim
EclipseClan back! I ran to the scent I came from, and burst into
camp. The loners were the first to see me, than a few of my
clanmates saw me. I mother was the first clanmate.
"Lunarmoon..?" She meowed with surprise. I launched at the
weakest loner. It was weaker than I thought! I bit into its neck
deeply and sent it off screeching. Another warrior pinned me
down... than I remembered the best part of battling. I faked a
gasp for air, than went limp. The loner loosened his grip. This
was the perfect timing! I kicked him off and launched him onto
the wall of the den.
The battle was finished. I smiled as I was cheered on by the
remaining clanmates, than something struck me. Where was
Silverstar? He hadnt picked a deputy yet! "Where is Silverstar?"
I asked one of the warriors. "He...." He paused. "Dead." I
stared in shock. The loners took away all his last 5 lives!
"T-than who will be leader?" I asked. He exchanged glances with
another warrior than smiled at me and muttered, "Lunarstar.." I
stared with blank eyes. Than the others joined in. "Lunarstar..
Lunarstar.." They were chanting the leader name... no... they
were chanting my name. I am Lunarstar, leader of EclipseClan,
and this is my life.... one no one would ever forget.
