Firework was sitting on the border, hoping to be alone. He
       wanted time to think.

Berrypaw wandered the unowned lands, anxiously flicking her
attention from one plant to another. She'd gone too far. Much
too far from home, and all for some catnip! She didn't really
want to get it anyway, since it could encourage addicts to rise
in the MoonTribe, but they ran out and Berrypaw didn't want to
wait until greencough entered their camp. How naive she was to
think she could control herself after crossing the border, and
the lynx point just continued to make it seem worse in her own
mind. She sighed hopelessly and plopped down on the trail
covered in grass and pine needles. She took a few moments to
sniff the air, and her eyes widened. SerpentClan! Had she
crossed the border by accident? Berrypaw tested the coming
breeze by slightly dropping her mouth open. No, but she was
close. She wondered if someone here could lead her back home,
but she quickly threw that thought away. Why should she make
someone else help her for losing her own tribe?

Firework blinked and lifted his head as he tasted the scent of
another Clan. After a bit of looking, he saw the source. He
relaxed when he saw it was just another apprentice, like him.
The heir stood up and stretched, then called over, "What're you
doing so far from your camp?"

"EEK!" Berrypaw squeaked and spun around, her light blue orbs
wide with sudden shock. Soon bright red blush colored and heated
her face as she stared at the fellow apprentice with
embarrassment. "Erm, I mean- Um!" the blue lynx point stuttered,
flatting her wide ears against her skull. Not only did she freak
out for no reason, she had to tell the truth about her presence
here, and to a handsome tom! He probably thinks I'm a paranoid
weirdo now. Nicely done, Berry! "I-I'm...lost," Berry finally
admitted as she lowered her head shamefully. Ugh, stop acting so
       pitiful! GAH!

He laughed slightly. "Nice to meet you, Lost," he teased,
watching her. "Why don't you come over here so I don't have to
shout?" Firework then smiled and asked, "What's your name?"
