i don't care what the weatherman say ( WINTER FORMAL ! ) it's a

[font=georgia][color=pink]in celebration of valentine's day and
the finding of the new territories.[/coloR]

Up the hill she went. Her paws moved through sun-warmed
yellow-green grass, the first sign thatcher end of winter was
coming soon. Multi-colored wildflowers were spread haphazardly
all around the hill, and at the top a few scraggly trees stood,
which had been wonderfully decorated by her Clanmates. They had
done such an amazing job, and the she-cat was feeling super
excited and bubbly. With the sun beaming down on them and the
beauty of the place, the medicine cat was almost tricked into
thinking it was spring already, the snow patches being her only
reminder that in fact it was not.
With a light heart, the silver bengal trotted toward a few flat
boulders near the flat face of the hill, where a diverse range
of fresh-kill was placed. Hopefully everyone attending would
find something they liked! On another one of these dark gray
rocks rested six pretty ribbons: two blue, two red, two white.
Auroralights had decided they should award the top three cutest
couples at the dance.
Giddy with joy, the young cat smiled up at the sky like an
idiot. It had barely started, but she was already so excited!
She headed over to an old music player she'd found in her
territory and started playing some music. She placed a
microphone by the thing so that it would amplify the sound, then
skipped off to try and find her date.

Sandman sat off to one side of the clearing. He'd been there for
a few minutes now, maintaining his own decorations. With his
telepathic abilities, everyone in the area would be able to see
what he saw. He envisioned threads of gold fractaling out from
the center of the clearing, creating a huge glittering snow
flake. It only seemed appropriate for a winter formal. From each
little thread, tiny golden sparkles drifted down to the ground,
though they disappeared long before they even got close to
reaching any cats. It would become more and more dominant as the
sun went down. Much of the other decorations were physical since
it would take focus to keep this up all night. But this was at
least one thing he wanted to do.
He gave a wave to Aurora with his tail, his signature sleepy
smile on his face. He hoped she had a nice date with her. He was
alone but he didn't really mind. He wasn't really interested in
pairing off with anyone anytime soon. He had an entirely
different responsibility on his shoulders. But that was entirely
separate from tonight.
His mind wandered on from that. Who would come? Who would get
the prizes that Aurora had set up? He wondered if he'd see any
new faces as well. They hadn't been here long but you never
knew.

Mazedpaw walked into the clearing, head hanging. No one has
asked her anything yet, and what if no one ever did? The best
that could happen would be if someone asked her out to dance
now, but what were the odds of that happening?
Maybloom walked into the clearing.
Fabric slumped into the clearing after mazedpaw, feeling the
same way.
Herbstar came in with Rabbit. The worst that coulkd happen was
some cat making fun of how many moons older herbstar was than
her date.

Rabbit reluctantly followed his leader, head held high. He had a
little buttercups, hoping to give one to every single lady he
saw. Hey, he may be here with the leader, but she was old and
pregnant, so she probably couldn't dance for sh.t. He trotted a
little faster, catching up with his date and attempting to give
her one of the buttercups.
Aiden trotted in slowly. He had been in this area once or twice
before, to meet with his friend from RainClan. The only reason
he came was because of her. He wanted to know what it was like
to not havea forbidden friendship. The almost-apprentice sized
tom let his eyes scan the clearing.
Chris came alone. She wasn't really liked by anyone in her Clan,
so why would anyone ask her? Sure, it hurt in her little girl
heart when she realised that no one would even think about her.
But she quickly grew on that and blocked everyone out more.

"Aiiiidennnn!" The fluffy white cat smelled her friend and
scrambled away from her mom to greet him. She jumped like she
was going to bowl him over, then decided not to and pounced on a
flower instead. "What's up?"

Herbstar smiled at Rabbit, and sweetly took the buttercup.
"Thanks." She meowed, and she stopped at the sid eof the
clearing and sat down.
(BTW herbstar isnt an old lady shes kinda young for a leader >.>

Rabbit dipped his head to her. "Now, if you don't mind, I'd like
to wonder around and give the rest of these out." He purred
quietly, padding away. "Just call me if you had fallen and can't
get up~!"
Aiden's ears pricked as he heard the voice of Downkit, smiling.
"Hey, Doe," he called her by a last minute nickname, since he
saw names like 'Downkit' or 'Batwing' to much of a mouth full to
say. "Did you come to the formal alone?"

"Yup," she mewed. "I don't care though." She didn't need a dumb

Fluffy trotted into the formal, she had a flower in her hair and
her fur was groomed nicely, she looked around for her date,
Polarpaw.
Partystreamers walked in, most likely beside Tigermarks. Her
four kits had grown old enough to come with her, and they were
just as neatly groomed as her, even if they hates that process.
Gremkit looked around for a she-kit, being the big flirty type.
Pandorakit bounded in.
"Now, don't go too far." Partystreamers reminded her kits.
"Mom, we'll be fine!" Gremkit said in a slightly annoyed tone,
and bounded after his sister.

The two small kits followed their siblings.
Tigermarks was beside Partystreamers.
The rest of my people hadn't arrived yet.
