Petrichor waited at the border of DevilClan. He wanted to join,
as it was his goal to join every Clan and try to move up the
ranks. The sand-colored cat sat patiently.

He was having enough with cats from other Clans appearing at his
borders. He was fine with AshClan, because AshClan was a
neighbor Clan. But FrozenClan? No. And now he scented both
RainClan and the MoonTribe around his border. He brought
Izabella, his adopted daughter, to help track down the supposed
group. But both DevilClanner's were surprised to see a single
cat with both scents. "Hey! What are you doing so close to the
border!?" The tom growled, pushing his full grown dog behind.

Petrichor dipped his head. "I'm sorry." He took a pause before
continuing, "I'd like to join DevilClan. I am a part of multiple
Clans, and I know that may give me less of a chance, but I
wouldn't want to tell lies when I'm first meeting the leader of
a Clan I may be able to join."

Hissingfly took a second to register the tom's words. "You
expect me to accept you just after telling that kind of a
truth?" He grumbled, pacing a bit. He didn't want such a tom in
his Clan. He was fine if a female would come in; it would be
someone for him to tease. But he couldn't tease an assumably
straight tom. Plus, toms were bad news in his family, with all
of his daughters and sister... "You have to give me more than
that if you want to join, kid. Especially since I now know that
you could potentially give away our secrets."

He tilted his head before shrugging. "Alright. I'm the deputy of
the MoonTribe and a warrior in RainClan. I've been to multiple
other Clans to join. I haven't told any of them anything about
my first two Clans, because I promises not to share the secrets.
Sunstar trusted me on this enough to make me deputy." Then
Petrichor paused before adding, "And I'm not a kid. I'd assume
I'm around the same age as you, so I'd prefer if you treated me
as such." The tom sat down and asked, "Is there anything else
you'd like to know?"

"You're the deputy of another group of cats and you want to join
this one? Can't you stay loyal to just one clan?" The
silver-blue tom padded up behind Hissingstar, a look of contempt
shown in his pale orange eyes.

Izabella was confused about that as well, but she said nothing.
"Alright, before I address anything else, I want to address
this. I call everyone kid. It has nothing to do with your
presumed age, which I might say that my looks are much younger
than my real age. It has something to do with who you are to me.
I'm not saying you're a twoleg waiting for your binky, I'm
saying you are nothing in my personal life, hense you are a kid.
Unless you want me to call you a d.uche or my love, I suggest
you don't correct me." The tom muttered, already a little
annoyed.
"But I have to say, I am a little impressed with you. Living in
two Clans already, and getting a higher rank in one? That's some
good sh.t right there. But, like he said, why can't you just be
loyal to one Clan?"

First he replied, "Well, I'd rather you call me by my name or
nothing at all." Then he added, "I had an idea. I'll not waste
the time explaining it now. I'd like a decision before I give
it, because I don't want to just share my ideas without the
person I share it with trusting me first."

Nerfpaw looked at Hissy, waiting for an answer. Hopefully he'd
be allowed to join, because the apprentice was curious to see
what reason Petrichor had for joining multiple clans. They could
always just kick him back out if he caused trouble.

"You got guts, kid." He grinned a bit. "And, as much as not
calling you anything is tempting, I'm going continue calling you
a twoleg juvenile until you tell me your name." The tom
countered, before answering the final question. "Fine, kid. You
can join DevilClan. But don't expect yourself to climb the ranks
as fast as you did in the MoonTribe."
