While he went for the starling, she saw a cardinal pecking at a
seed. It was close to the twolegs watching him, but she didn't
care. She moved towards it, then lunged forwards and bit down on
it. She turned around and walked towards Darestar, not even
acknowledging the humans.

scratched a hole in the hard ground and smashed his catch into
it, scuffing a bit of dirt over it as well. "One more piece of
prey for me and I'm done," the leader mewed to his partner. They
had to leave some animals to live, didn't they?

"Okay." He got to his paws again and started to look for one
more animal. The last thing he caught was a meaty squirrel, a
satisfying catch for the young tom. "Alright, back to camp?" he
mewed with a tilt of his head.

Headpaw continued to lounge on the tree branch like a lazy bum,
but kept his eye out for anything interesting.
Spottedpaw yawned and slowly stood up only to stretch her front
legs, a long purr of contentment echoing from her throat. When
she finished preparing herself by swiftly running her tongue
over her sleek pelt, the young bengal cat looked for something
to do.
