Well, the leader decided he'd done his fair share of hunting
today. But the orange tabby's paws itched to do something!
Unlike some cats he knew, he liked to spend his boundless energy
on useful things instead of being silly. "I'm heading back out,
guys," the male feline meowed. "Anyone else who wants to can
join me."

Starfault slowly weaved her way through the cars until she made
it to what she'd been trying to get to. A hole was in the ground
here in the dirt next to the road. She unsheathed her claws and
reached in, digging her claws into the first thing she felt. As
she pulled her paw out, her claws were hooked into a squirming
rabbit. After a moment she put it out of its misery and made her
way back towards the camp.

"'Ight," he mewed, giving Racetrack a short nod before bounding
onto the street and onto another stretch of grass. There were
many of these patches along the roads, and it was a good thing,
for the tom could only sprint for so long before he got tired.
The little rest stops were nice. Scenting another of his clan
mates, the orange cat hurried to catch up to Starfault. Hunting
alone was nice and peaceful, but the buddy system helped in case
of an accident. Also it was good to talk to people every once in
a while. Darestar decided he should stop being a big introvert
and have a conversation.

Starfault felt around and there were no more animals in the
hole. Placing the prey in the hole, she scraped dirt into the
entrance to hide it. She wasn't ready to return to camp yet.

quietly, because he didn't want to startle her. That would be
bad, since they were so close to a speeding road. "Catch much?"

When she heard the leader speak, she shrugged and replied with a
simple, "No." Then she added, "Just a rabbit." Starfault turned
around to look at him as she spoke. She knew he was trying to
get her to talk, but it wasn't something she was good at.

Plushpaw awoke in her little nest, pushing her large paws in
front of her as she opened her eyes. Almost immediately, she was
smiling. Another day of monsters hustling by and honking at one
another. The occaisional 'weeoo' of a blue white and red monster
that pulled over others and appeared at crash sites. Of course,
she only heard of those things from her older sibling, who had
been assumed dead when he was hit by a monster and the twoleg
took him inside and drove off. Oh, bad memory. Stop it, bad
memory! No ruining fun today.
She stood up and shook out her fur, letting go of the dust that
was collecting in her pelt.

"Rabbit? Impressive." His maw curled into one of those smiles
where you're only smiling on one side. Though it was only one
piece of prey, something as large as that could feed lots of
cats. Plus rabbits weren't usually seen around here.
Windpaw saw Plushpaw and ran over to greet the cheerful cat.
"Hi!" the silver tabby purred.

She simply shrugged. Starfault sat down, staying silent, then
got bored of silence and asked, "What were you going to do?"
