i'm not really sure how to feel about it (puddin)

Roanoke let his tail twitch slowly. His mind was set on the
formal, and how he wanted to go, just not alone. But who would
go with him? Everyone in the Clan was either taken or to
young/old for him. There were only a select few that didn't fall
in either category, and only one of those few he would be fine
with when asking out. Basically, long story short, maybe he
could go with Streamflow. That is, if she accepted his proposal.

The tom lifted his eyes from the floor and searched for the
female, tail flicking.

That was... quick. Hey, he wasn't complaining. "Hey, Stream." He
meowed, getting as close to a nickname as he would with a
friend. "I was actually just looking for you. Anyways, I was
wondering if anyone was taking you to the formal?"

"Nope," she mewed, hiding her disappointment. The only cat she'd
gone on a 'date' with to anything was Emptypromises, and he had
a mate now. He was also dead. "What about you?"

"Well, I'm currently not going with anyone." He gave a simple
shrug, as if he didn't care. "Though, I was wondering if we
could go together." Roanoke mewed, tipping his head to the side
as he waited for the answer.

I was wondering if we could go together. The she-cat played the
words over again in her own mind, wondering if she'd heard them
right. She paused for half a second, then mewed, "Okay!"
enthusiastically. Someone actually liked her and wanted to go to
formal with her? Yay! The silver she-cat was feeling bubblier
than she had been in quite a while.
