ideas to thank my parents?

Basically, right now is a very tough time for money in my
household. And yet, my parents decide to come up with over one
thousand dollars to fix my cat's sudden blockage in his bladder
(he was literally peeing blood wherever he walked today.)
Now, I know its hard for them right now. And I know a simple hug
and a sobbing thank you won't cut it. I was thinking of doing
the dishes, washing the dogs, and doing much MUCH better in
school, but I still feel that that isn't even enough.
Anyome have any ideas?

If you wanted to be cheesy, you could make a cake in the shape
of a cat and write on it 'thank you for fixing me'

Um, try to help out around the house more, be as pleasant as
possible, etc. I'm a really lazy person who'd want to do
something to give back but wouldn't want to use up precious
energy. I'm so selfish ugh I hate myself ;w;

If only I could, Spotty. But I'm not as artistic, or even as
good with cooking supplies, as you. Honestly, though, if I
tried, if would come out disproportionate and probably more like
a gerbile than a cat. But I could, if I would.
I was thinking something like that too, Fancy. And since I'm in
woodshop now, I could probably stay behind to work on something
for them. I do know that near the end of the year we're making
shelves. I could give that to my dad, since he needs more space
in his little man cave. Thanks for the idea<3
That's understandable, Dawny. But seeing as my parents have
such... personalities to them, I'd rather not explain it. And
how could I not do something for them? They just pulled over a
thousand dollars out of their butts for me and my cat. I HAVE to
do something<33
And I can't be that great, Puddin ;.; I couldn't even keep up
with my chores a few months ago.
Anyways, I'll try, Pud, to help around the house more. I
definitely will. And don't hate yourself! I forbid such thinhs

It would be a useful cake if you ever have a gerbil and they got
the same thing as your cat xD
