Time to follow through with her plan. Decembersnow walked out of
camp, as if she was just going for a walk. She let her munchkin
legs carry her away from the camp before she tore out a bit of
her fur (good thing she was fluffy), and tossed it onto the
ground. She then walked some ways up, and dropped another piece.
Few more steps, another piece. All until she was out of the
territory, and in no other Clan's territory. She then,
carefully, cut off a triangle in her ear and placed it on the
ground. She also allowed the little bit of blood to fall into
the snow, and she put some blood stained fur down. That would be
good enough, right?
Once her ear stopped bleeding, and wrapped cobweb around it and
ran. She knew they would carry her scent to wherever she went,
so she stopped by an old badger den and rolled around in the
scent to cover her own. Then she d she tried finding AshClan,
and did so successfully.

Auroralights was out collecting herbs when she noticed a few
tufts of fur on the ground. Curious, the medicine cat walked
over to inspect it more carefully. Decembersnow? What happened
to her? She found blood on the snow and a piece of her beloved
mentor's ear and bit her lip. Oh no!

Whitepaw was heading back to camp with her new bundle of herbs
until she scented three certain scents that she would recognize
anywhere. Auroralights, faintly Decembersnow, and...blood?!
Immediately she began to speed to the scene, her swift and
graceful legs easily carrying her over, and she abruptly came to
a stop with wide light blue eyes flashing with fear. She stared
down at the fragment of her precious mentor's own ear, and then
slowly pulled her worried gaze up to the former apprentice.
"What...What happened?" she squeaked anxiously.

"I-I'm not sure," the Bengal mewed, choking on her words. She
lowered her tone, mewing softly, "I think she's dead."
