Pheo had found herself in a bit of pain as she eased into her
nest in the nursery. So her children finally decided to come
out? If only they had done so sooner. Maybe that would've kept
Eppy... well, the past is the past, and she needed to look
towards the future with her babies. She snagged a stick and
began kitting.

It was about five minutes later, two bodies beside her. She
watched them like any mother would, and purred. "You know..."
she began talking to them. "Even though a ton of crap
happened...I don't regret any bit of it. You two... you are a
part of my life now. And I hope neither of you regret that." She
licked their backs.

The white kitten curled up beside her mother, trying to keep
warm, although her thick, soft pelt could probably do that just
fine.
Streamflow wasn't there. Or was she?
(should this be before she was captured?)

Since this is the same time as Sib's kitting, and Sib's kits are
currently in that thread, yes, shes here c: ))
Oh yeah, names... she expected for someone, anyone, to come in
and tell her how she did a good job and help her name them. But
nope. Someone decided to die and two other cats decided to
disappear. So she had to do it herself. "You'll be..." she
looked at her fluffy white child, giving her fur a quick lick.
"Downkit... I think that's a good name."

Deli padded in and immediatley started purring, sniffing the
kittens. "Ohhh, Pheo, I'm sure they're beautiful! Tell me, what
do they look like?"

A small, fluffy black kitten was curled up by his mother's side.
He was cold, even with his thick pelt, and wanted warmth. As he
snuggled closer to his mother and sister, the little thing tried
to purr.
Petrichor didn't know why, but he felt drawn to these kits. It
didn't make sense to him, because he still didn't know the
truth. He couldn't push away the instinct, though, and entered
the nursery.

The female looked up at Streamflow and Deli, beaming. "Thanks,
Streamflow. And Deli, the girl is fluffy and pure white, while
the male is black and fluffy." She mewed, licking the tom's back
as he tried to purr. "I still have yet to name him, but I have
decided the girl's name. Downkit..." she paused for a second and
looked up at the tom walking in, slightly confused. Usually, it
was just the close friends and family who came in to see the
newborns on the first day, even first hours of life. But here he
comes, a tom she never really spoke to, or spent any time with
him, which rendered him as a stranger to her motherly side. That
meant she would, which she did, curl her tail around her babies
and watch him warily. "Hey, Petrichor, what are you doing here?"

Petrichor hesitated, watching the kits for a moment before
looking at Phoenixfeather and replying, "I'm not sure." After a
moment, he continued, "I just... I can't explain it." Shaking
his head, he just murmured, "Nevermind." Backing away, he sat at
the edge of the den, not quite ready to leave.

Mazey, or Mazedpaw, ran in but slowed as she reached Pheo. "Pheo
they are beautiful." She purred to her friend. "Um.... Am I
counted as their aunt.. since we are kinda close?" The appy
meowed to Pheo. She had no mentor yet.

Pheo looked away from the tom, looking towards Mazedpaw. She
purred at the apprentice, whom she mothered ever since she came
to the Clan, and nodded. "Of course, Maze. Why would you think
otherwise?"
