Hissingstar new that it would be easy to find something like
their old camp and territory, but he wanted something different.
He still wanted the shelter of trees, but not trees that drop
leaves every winter. He still wanted the thrills of badger dens
and fox dens, but less frequent. He wanted more, to sum it all
up. And that's exactly what he found.
Just ahead of him was a pine forest, not to dense yet not to
sparce. And the roots of each tree curved up with an arch,
allowing dens for mice and voles. Scenting the air, he could
tell their were plenty of those. There were even many squirrels
in the tree. So many, he could literally see them. He led his
group further into the forest, to leard more about it.
At one point, they passed the tallest tree. It towered so high,
that you couldn't see it. Yet again, that could be the work of
the other trees. In the tree, was a hole. The hole had a large
nest in it, and what he was guessing, a few eggs. Another point,
there was a lake with a dock. It was a small lake, you could
easily see the other side, but it was still very beautiful.
Finally, they came up to a small clearing. It was just big
enough to be a Clan camp, of course with a little building and
clearing. He could see the layout now. In the hollow of a tree
would be the leader's den, and beneath the roots in the old fox
den would be the medicine area. He was pretty sure there was a
pool in their somewhere, since there was a wet scent leaving it.
Next to the old den, there was a bush. With a little work, it
could be the nursery. And maybe on the other side of the den
could be the elder, which would have to be built. Both easy
access to the medicine den. And maybe near the front of the
camp, they could build a large den for the warriors, and on the
opposite side, a little farther away from the entrance, the
apprentices. If they made a hole over there, behind the
warrior's den, it could lead to the dirt place. The fresh kill
pile could settle between the nursery and the apprentices den,
and a traitors/prisoners den could settle between the elders den
and the warriors den... perfect.
"Settle down everyone. Because, with a little work, this will
become our new home."

He wasn't a member of this strange group of felines. No, he was
a loner; he had been living in this place his whole life, well,
aside from his brief first few moons as a kittypet. But the
silky blue tom didn't like this, all these cats invading his
home and taking his prey. Narrowing soft orange eyes, the
muscular cat stalked over to this 'clan' thing and asked less
than nicely, "What are you doing here, may I ask?"
He's gonna join, i was too lazy to make an actual thread
