Silently, a brown tabby she-cat padded along, no idea about
where she was going. As she walked, she didn't realized there
was anything special about the land she was about to cross on
to. In her mind this was just more land she to walk over. Or at
least that was what she thought until she realized that at a
certain point, the land became marked. Glancing around, green
eyes filled wonder, her mind filled with ideas about what was
going on. Suddenly an idea came into her head.
She had heard about groups of cats living together around here.
Of course, she hadn't thought she would come across one, but
maybe this is what she needed. For quite a while now, she had
just been wandering around, no real spot to stay. Maybe finding
a place to finally call home would be good for her. From what
she'd heard, they accepted cats, and she hoped that was true.
Almost smiling now, the tabby with emerald eyes waited for more
cats to find her.

"Hey," an unemotional female's voice called in an even tone. The
cat whom the meow belonged to was concealed among the branches
of a dark and leafy tree. It would be fairly difficult to see
the she-cat in her hiding place, for the leaves hid her white
and orange pelt well. It would be no biggy if she was
discovered, though. The tribe leader had lost much of her
enthusiasm for guarding her territory after the earthquake
pretty much destroyed it. They were leaving soon, so why bother
anymore? The hidden cat spoke again. "Mind if I ask what you're
doing on the Tribe of the Moon's Shadow territory?" Gosh, their
name was quite a mouthful. Sundapple stifled a snort of
amusement and waited for the trespasser's response.

While her leader was up in the trees, the ocelot was prowling on
the ground with a large grin on her face. It took every ounce of
patience to not launch out and start a conversation with the
trespasser. AJ blinked her odd eyes, then finally let her
excitement free and jumped out of the bush she was hiding in.
"Hi! I'm AJ!" She looked down at the cat, considering that she
was an ocelot, and grinned. "Whats yours?"

Startled by the first voice that had say hey, the she-cat was
more terrified when the ocelot named AJ had come over to her.
She'd never seen a cat this big, but had to assume that she was
part of this Tribe of the Moon's Shadow. Glancing around she
tried to pinpoint where the first voice was. She decided on some
trees, but didn't call them out. If they didn't want to be seen
that was their business. Finding her voice, the tabby answered
the questions.
"I am on the Tribe of the Moon's Shadow's territory because I am
looking to join. I have heard of groups like this before, and
think yours would be the best for me." Swallowing the little bit
of fear she had about AJ, she turned to her. "Hi AJ! My name is
Yesterday." She waited to hear any comments about how strange
her name was like usual, but these cats didn't seem to be the
type to care about unusual names.

A small, rough furred, sandy colored cat walked over, a smile
playing on his lips. This was the obnoxious tom that annoyed
Sundapple enough to get in the Tribe. He didn't understand how
that worked, but he was a part of the Trive now, so it didn't
matter to him. As he stopped in front of Yesterday, he greeted,
"Petrichor."

Aj flicked her ear, listening to the she-cat with curiosity.
Ohh! Another member! Well, potential member. The ocelot flicked
her ear at the mention of the odd name, deciding to discard it.
She looked for her leader, who was probably hiding in the trees
somewhere, and ignored Pet for the moment.

"Well, hello, Yesterday." Seeing as her Clanmates didn't want to
play along with the "mysterious voice out of nowhere" scare
tactic, the leader popped out of her hiding place to join the
others. "I'm Sundap-- Sunstar, the leader here. Yeah, uh, you
can join!" The she-cat showed her an awkward smile. "Um, could
someone give her a tour? AJ maybe, since you were here to greet
her first?"

AJ grinned, standing on her toes. "I would be delighted to!" She
squealed, turning to the new cat. "Of course, if you don't mind
me showing you around."

A quick flash of confusion appeared on Yesterday's face before
it was covered. That was it? She'd been accepted like that? From
what she'd heard, she'd been ready to have to do all sorts of
things, and was glad that it was simpler than she had thought.
Looking over at the new cat to join, she mewed a quick hello.
"Hello Petrichor!" Turning to AJ, her green eyes shining, she
accepted the offer. "I'd love to have you show me around. It
sounds much better than trying to figure it out myself..."

"Its much, much easier, promise me." She giggled. "When I first
came here... well, it was more when I joined the Clan, because I
lived close by and- ..." she slowed her words down, but kept her
smile. "Never mind. I find that rambling about my life makes
others a bit irritated. So on with the tour?"
