GIVE ME TO THE WATER DOCTOR ( splash flora's story )

[center]PROLOGUE
tide felt her life draining away as her three precious kits were
born. where was her beloved mate? she wanted to call out to him,
to tell him about the beginning of their children. but the words
caught in her throat, and she choked on them.
oh, there he was. the albino male was running towards her in
slow motion, it seemed. couldn't he go faster? apparently not.
just as she began to spiral into darkness, he arrived at her
side. those pink eyes she adored stared into hers, and horror
swam in them gleefully.
"love you." she managed to rasp, and tide gave in to the
darkness. she was dead.
the albino male known as frenzy took a while to register the
fact she was dead. and when he did, he weeped and called out to
the heavens. "i was too late! do not punish me! i swear i will
raise these kits!" he promised, saying it to the sky . .

splash flora crept through the backyard, emerald optics round
with wonder. it was her first time in the backyard, due to
frenzy feeling like she wasn't as good as her littermates. she
thought it was because she looked just like mum.
frenzy narrowed his pink eyes as he saw her approach, and her
two brothers, flurry and corry, grinned. flurry and corry loved
her, thought it was unfair she couldn't participate in their
lessons.
