Story time with the Disciple
By: Spotteh Date: November 26, 2013, 10:55 pm

Disciple climbed onto the top of a nearby hill. She'd seen the
new trolls prowling through the dream bubbles from afar. After
so long of being alone, the idea of talking with someone new was
almost mind blowing. Lions were the loudest of all the cats.
Time to put it to work. "WHO WANTS TO HEAR A STORY!?!"

Naiomi gave a grin and waved at the Disciple. "Hey! Over here! I
wanna listen!"

She waved at the young troll and motioned for her to join her.
She didn't want to move in case anyone else came.

Disciple walked down the hill a bit to greet her. "Tell me,
what's your name?" She said, grinning widely. Part of her
couldn't help but feel sad. Once, when she asked if someone
wanted a story, trolls would gather at her feet to hear of her
love, the Signless. She would speak to twenty at a time and get
to know each of them as time went on. The Signless would stop
his conversations about the future and listen in on her, giving
commentary to her words or protesting when she began a story
about him. Psiioniic would jump in and back up the Signless
since most of the embarrassing stories were about the both of
them. But she'd always end up telling it no matter how much they
protested as her crowd demanded it. She could still hear the
laughter of the past. Her smile faltered a bit but she kept
grinning. Now she stood alone with one other troll in an empty
forest. It was rather sad.

"My name's Naiomi. Nothing happens around here, anymore. So,
you're a very good sign. What's your name? I've never seen you
before." She gave a smile with her pointed teeth and blinked her
eyes, tipping her head.

"I am the Disciple. You may know of my love, the Signless?" She
would be surprised if the young troll didn't. According to the
other trolls she'd met, he'd left quite an impact on Alternia.

"Oh! Yes, him!" She blinked her eyes and widened them. "You know
him?"

She smiled almost sadly at the little troll. "Better than anyone
else."
