Strangledfox paced outside of the Seven stones clearing, his
deep amber gaze staring at the ground. Normally, this happy tom
was relaxed, friendly, sweet, humorous, and a great friend. He
was a committed father and mate, but something was very
different about him right now. You could see it in his eyes,
stress and depression clinging to those orange orbs. He tried to
keep it inside ever since Deliriadreams lost her eyesight, but
he held it in too long and now it was getting to him.
Strangledfox hated himself over and over for what happened to
the energetic deputy of his. Of course, it wasn't his fault, not
at all, but he was her mate and he hated to think of what she
must be feeling right now. This event caused him to doubt if she
really loved him or not. Of course she did, but with this
certain warrior always going with the flow and keeping his cool,
he had to be a wreck at some point. And not only did he worry
about his mate, but his kits. Did they really love him back? Did
they look up to him? How would they grow up? Was he a good
father? A good mate? A good anything? Questions stomped around
in his head, attempting to smash every little bit of sanity and
hope he had left.

friend's mate and walked over. She like never talked to him so
she decided she would right now. "Sup."

A loner called Calamity, who was formerly named Wendy, padded up
to the two cats. "Hey guys." She said plainly, a friendly smile
on the pretty she-cat's face.

Saltkit romped over to his father and yelled, "papa!" He gave a
cheeky grin and squeaked, jumping to be in between his fahter's
legs. He didn't quite understand that Deli lost her eyesight,
she acted so normal. He swiveled his large ears to prick and
focus on his father. Salty pranced over to Streamflow and weaved
in between her back legs, rolling randomly over and encasing
himself in dirt and dust.

Strangledfox shot his head up and looked towards the arriving
cats. Streamflow; someone he'd seen before, but didn't know; and
oh! His dear Saltkit, looking as adorable as ever. The marbled
orange tabby forced on his normal, friendly smile. "Hey! I'm
doing good," he answered Streamflow, easily slipping in the lie
without hesitation. He then fixed his gaze on his offspring, his
teeth beginning to show in a small grin. "Hey there, squirt," he
chuckled, touching his nose to his as he dangled from the
medicine cat's jaws.

"Momma told me to come here. She's walking into some sticks
while Empty's watching her!" He squirmed a bit more to get out
of the medic's jaws and pranced up to his father, giving a grin
and jumping up and down in front of his father. "She's fine,
though."
