Dogpaw sat down in the corner of the gathering place, flicking
his tail and flattening his ears. He didn't want to be noticed
by his father, even after he retreated back to the DevilClan's
group. He had to admit, he was more scared of his father than
his soft, fluffy mother. She was snappy when she was short
tempered, yes, but she didn't really mean anything she said,
because she apologized soon after. His father, though... oh, he
had heard rumors. He had decided he didn't want to listen to
them, but they still scared him.

Oh, god no. Dogpaw gave a little whimper and looked quietly over
at his father. He drooped his tail and got up, nodding and with
his tail between his legs crawled over to his father. He wasn't
really sorry. He was just... terrified.

"D-DevilClan." Dogpaw made himself smaller and looked up at
Hissingfly with his matching green eyes. While his father had
that white strike on his eye, Dogpaw had a white splotch on his
ears and left eye, not as clean as Hiss, but still a little
thing to set them apart.

Dogpaw straightened, and swiveled his ears forward, gripping the
ground with his claws. [B]"Rain dances? Flower power? What the
hell do you think they do? I'm helping them because YOURE not.
You're not even trying to get rid of those rumors that follow
you around like ash in a wildfire!"[/b] He growled and narrowed
his eyes.

The tom snapped his jaws; he was the dominant one in his family,
and nothing was going to change that. "You do NOT raise your
voice at your father!" Hissingfly hissed. "I don't help them
because one, they don't ask for it and two, my Clan most likely
gets nothing in return."

helping them would result in allies, and peace between a tribe
and a Clan?" Dogpaw questioned, trying to make himself bigger.
He knew his father didn't like him standing up for the tribe.

Hissingfly fluffed up his tail, his growl continuing deep in
this throat. "It doesn't always benefit me. Now hold your
motherf.cking tongue before I rip it out of your f.cking mouth!"
He had much more choice words to say, just not in public.
